From our friends: @morphicgraffiti thrust William Wycherley's #TheCountryWife into the excesses and seductions of late 1920's London: a city exploding with a heavy mix of jazz, gin and scandalous affairs! At @swkplay 28th March - 21st April. Book here: http://ow.ly/31rH30iPC2l #FF
It’s Sunday and I’m halfway through a 12 hour self-imposed theatre work day. So I’m shaking things up a bit. Instead of a picture of me in a dress, here is a painting of me in a dress. A dress that was custom built for me for my very first role with @chesapeakeshakespearecompany. What a costume! what a character! As I’ve mostly moved on from acting to directing and producing, it’s probable that I’ll never see the likes of such a character or a costume again but this painting is forever. #thecountrywife#ladyfidget#actorlife#41dressesfor41days#fashion#costumes#birthdaycountdown#bodypositivity
Last night concluded a year and a half (with a brief hiatus) studying acting and Meisner technique, with Scott Williams/Impulse Theatre Company, culminating in an informal showing at the actors centre. It also coincided with this past weeks acting intensive with Niki Flacks - (‘Acting With Passion’).
It’s been a wonderful learning process and another step towards living truthfully, taking risks and doing this thing... my friend and mentor Greta Mendez came to lend her eye and give me that essential feedback, and it’s already looking exciting for the new year! One of the highlights has been being in class with my classmates who were all caring, lovely people without exception! It makes going to the terrifying places easier! #expressyourself#acting#meisner#technique#scene#work#glengaryglennross#thecountrywife#impulsetheatre#meisner#observeandrespond
Last show completed. Thank you to everyone for an amazing season working on The Country Wife at NIDA. Time to Bump Out and start on my next adventure... Set Design: Mathilda Robba #thecountrywife#nida#stagemanagement
Plot 1: The scene I will be using is from Act IV, scene III when Lady Fidget is attempting to hook up with Horner. Lady Fidget speaks to Horner about having her dear honor and Horner basically says don't talk about honor, it's a turn off. This picture is funny to me because the man in modern times seems to be shutting down what the woman is saying, and I feel Horner was acting the same way in this scene.

There’s only one weekend left for you to see The Country Wife at MSU Denver! We have evening shows tonight through Saturday Oct. 7th and a closing Sunday matinee performance on Oct. 8th.
Don’t miss your chance to smile big and laugh until you cry!
Saw #thecountrywife tonight! Wrote the study guide so I knew the play, but man, the production, design, costumes, and actors did amazing! Jeff's vision was great. Laughed the whole way through.
