Nigori (cloudy) Sparkling ‘Kid’ by Heiwa Shuzo in Wakayama prefecture. Founded in 1928, they went through a reincarnation in 1952 by changing their name to Heiwa Shuzo and again when Yamamoto Norimasa became fourth generation steering the brewery in a new direction moving away from cheap sake towards quality with the company even making their own Koji and harvesting their own rice. ————————————————————————#Heiwashuzo#平和酒造#Kid#紀土#Gohyakumangoku#五百万五

Brunch wines with @bcharlieg including a 1989 clos l'olive, 1999 Viader and a 2008 Hall Cabernet. Our Chinon gave feirce acidity elegant fruit and herb notes. Gorgeous! For comparison we looked to the cabfranc heavy Viader. @viader_napa was showing such elegant expressions of red plum, blackberry, cherry, violets, cocoa, herb and cool eucalyptus. The 2008 @hallwines cabernet has come together nicely loaded with black cherry, blueberry, anise, cola & spice notes backes by dense palate feel. #hallwines , #viader , #napacab , #napavalley , #brunchwine , #winstagram , #chinon , #cabfranc , #terroir
Yesterday, Alexandra together with Lucky, our sales agent in the Hautes-Alpes, were participating in a special event organized by the Marseille Rotary Club. A wonderful day... Just a little bit snowy 😉❄️️🍷 #Chateaudesaintmartin#provence#provencestyle
Our creek’s blooming with watercress while the lake below still thaws. I’d say watercress has the longest season of any food growing wild around here. Not quite the right size to be called harvestable but very inspiring 💚🌱 can’t wait for watercress soup!
