Let's try to cook something from asian cuisine today. Let's go for one of the most popular japanese foods - Teriyaki chicken.
Teriyaki chicken is mostly about the sauce. What we need for teriyaki sauce
2 tbsp - Soy sauce
2 tbsp - Honey
2 tbsp - Sesame oil
1 tsp - Sesame seeds
1 tbsp - Tobasco (I didn't have tobasco, so I used chilli oil)
1 tsp - Caster sugar
Juice of 1 big or two small oranges.
1 tbsp of butter
Additionally you might want to use 1 tsp of cornflour or all-purpose flour to thicken the sauce.
Now let's make nice crunchy chicken breasts. Mix some all-purpose flour with salt and pepper then add the chicken breasts into this mixture and cover them with flour nicely.
Use some vegetable oil and put chicken breasts inside the frying pan. You don't need to cook them completely at this stage, we only need nice crunchiness.
After all the chicken breasts done, don't use another pan for the sauce, we've already got all all those nice flavours in our pan.
Pour the sauce into the pan and place chicken breasts inside the sauce and cook in a low heat for 20-25 minutes.
