‘Somos Juan Pablo y Marco, y nuestros hijos Yago y Fabio.
Fertility Fact: According to the CDC, African American women in
the U.S. have the highest rate of secondary infertility – the inability to become pregnant after the birth of one or more biological children. Thankfully, many common causes - like fibroids or low sperm count in partners – can be treated if detected early enough. #28DaysofTLC#BlackHistoryMonth
Our Surrogate Mother❤❤❤ 32 weeks of pregnancy.
Without her help, people might never have the opportunity to build a family. We are thankful to her and every woman who chooses to become a surrogate mother. We appreciate your generous and noble act of love and service. We are grateful every day for the miracles we witness. 😚😚😚🤗🤗🤗
There is One thing certain about life and that is - we face varying degrees of challenges at different times and our responses to these challenges determine the outcome.
The Bible has stated that - "many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord DELIVERS FROM THEM ALL". Meaning no matter how insurmountable the situation might seem, the Lord had already prepared a way out for you.
Oftentimes, we are our own problem either by choosing to do things our way or over thinking/ worrying about the problem and compounding a seemingly simple situation.
Don't be the stumbling block to yourself, stand back and let your creator sort out all that pertains to you. If you know you have worsen a situation and clueless on how to rectify the situation, remember His words - even the lawful captive SHALL BE SET FREE. And if He has said it, then rest and be confident in his words.
If you trust Him, He will take you by the hand and help you surmount all your obstacles in life.

The difference between my first two journeys and this one.... the first draft of our contract arrived via e-mail yesterday and I totally missed it. I would’ve been refreshing my inbox a million times an hour on my first journey and once an hour on my second. Too funny. #surrogacy

Today's Pinterest search... I was just saying to IFs Mom on Sunday that I've been feeling so great this pregnancy, but worried when the other shoe might drop.
I shouldn't have said anything.
Went into my bosses office this morning with severe clenching pain in my upper abdomen. As the pain progressed I found myself hyperventilating and she opted to call an ambulance. My hands started tingling and I was trying not to cry but panic was setting in. I could feel baby moving and my uterus was still squishy so I was pretty sure he was fine but didn't recognize the pain.
My work is super close to the hospital so they had me in the ambulance and up to L&D quickly. By the time I was in the bed and had the fetal monitors strapped on the pain was subsiding. My OB was on the floor and opted to run blood work and an ultrasound. After a few hours of waiting on results her words were, "you're chock full of gallstones." She then explained that it's not uncommon in pregnancy, diet changes that could prevent (hopefully) further episodes, and that it may resolve itself after birth or I may need my gallbladder removed but that will be decided after baby is born. Babe had a fantastic heart rate the whole time and was kicking and moving like crazy, he definitely did not know or care that anything was going on.
IPs are out of the country on vacation at the moment, I emailed them, really don't want them to worry though.
My one manager stayed at the hospital with me then drove me back to work, I'm pretty lucky to work with the women I do.
Now to learn how to manage this hiccup until baby is born.
Last week our Mini-Moore family received a special gift to travel to Maui with my whole immediate family in honor of my dad’s 60th Birthday. Our clan of 15 people enjoyed quality time, seafood, and pinacoladas in the sunshine. The kids splashed in the pools, the adults laid in the sun, and my dad danced with an orchestra of of hula dancers at a grand luau on his 60th birthday. Traveling with twin toddlers kept my hands full so most of these photos were captured by my beautiful sister and my soon to be sister-in-law (my brother proposed at 30,000 feet in the air!) Woke up yesterday in Hawaii with 78 degree weather ☀️. Woke up this morning back in Portland where it’s 32 degrees and snowing ❄️. Traveling with kids with special medical needs is busy busy go go go hands full all the time. I didn’t spend much time on social media but I will post more photos from our trip soon (mostly captured by my family on my behalf ❤️.)
I remember my first Valentine’s Day as a Mom. The twins had cute matching outfits picked out and I was looking forward to precious photos of them together. There was just one problem... Jaxson was home with daddy an hour away. Cadence and I were separated from our sweet family living in a nightmare called NICU for the *THIRD* time. Being re-admitted again after our victorious discharge from our first 98 day stay was crushing. I found strength and comfort from other NICU moms who reminded me that I was not alone.
As NICU moms we know that so much of the NICU Is hard, but holidays can especially be emotionally taxing. For this very special holiday centered around love we have decided we wanted to figure out a way to share the love with current NICU Moms, and let them know that they are not alone on this very difficult, but often rewarding journey. Please check out the entire video(this is only a small clip), and follow all of these inspiring NICU Moms on social media (please click link in bio to view the entire video) @fromminitomoose @addie.belle @hazelandmama @willows_cpjourney
Cadence is getting old enough to realize that she is different from her brother and other people. She has a tube in her tummy that most of us don’t have. We believe it’s important for all kids to have books and toys demonstrationing how beautiful our differences are weather it be race, gender, cultural minority, social minority, medical disability or developmental disability. Yesterday Cadence received a very special gift in the mail from @tubiefriends These quality custom stuffed animals are individually designed to match each child’s unique individuality. If you have a tubie I’d recommend applying for a #tubiefriend for your child. If you don’t but you want to make a donation to bless a child with special needs this Valentines Day, I would encourage you to go to their website and make a donation through PayPal. Thank you @tubiefriends ! http://tubiefriends.org/index.php/get-involved/
Let’s talk about Valentine’s Day... I’ve never been into going out on 2/14 when all the restaurants jack up their prices. I ask my spouse not to waste $$$ on flowers (that die), or chocolates (that make me huge), or jewelry (which is usually too fancy for my momma life style). Typically I look forward to a special date the week before or the week after when the crowds die down and we can enjoy quality time together. However, it is nice to spoil our loved ones once and a while with a thoughtful gift on special occasions. I’ve partnered with @danielwellington this Valentine’s Day because they offer gorgeously packaged gifts that are practical, personal, and meaningful.
