Speed deadlift (70%): 3x3 @ 315 lbs (120 sec rest b/w sets)
Power shrugs (75% of current): 2x5 @ 270 lbs
Stiff-leg deadlift: 2x5
Bent over row: 2x5
Underhand (reverse) grip lat pulldown: 2x5
Arched back good morning: 2x5

We live in a huge world and it's easy to get lost in it. Everyone struggles to feel like they can do something that matters. And you'll do it every single day, without a whole lot of thought or recognition. Your small words of encouragement in a world where so many people are struggling will make a difference, and they'll get passed on. Your kindness, your ability to pick people up off the ground--IT MATTERS. The world may never know your name, but you can be sure that your words and actions will echo through this world for an eternity.
Let me be real with you for a minute.
Before starting my fitness journey I was totally not into health and fitness what-so-ever! 💩Was a smoker 💩Ate fast food like EVERY DAY, multiple times a day. 💩The only "physical activity" I did was at work and I was not about to go out of my way to do even more! 💩I didn't think I needed to because I have ALWAYS been naturally fit.
Then guess what happened?!
I had a baby! Having a child has TOTALLY changed my perspective! (And my body!) Now I am on a mission to make sure that I am here on this earth as long as I possibly can be for my son!
What are your reasons for not taking care of yourself??
People let their dreams take second place to what society thinks they outta do. One thing I never want someone to do is turn 80 and think back on their life and think “man I wish I started that business out of high school” because that is the worst thing to ever happen to a person: regret. Don’t stop dreaming. There was a point when all of us were full of child-like hope and believed we could be presidents or astronauts if we worked hard enough. And at some point we stopped dreaming about those things even though nothing had really changed. Your odds are just as challenging as they were when you were six and believed that you could do it if you gave it your all. You can still do it. Chase all of your dreams and even if you don’t get them all you may just get a few of them. I'd say those are pretty good odds.
The standing barbell press builds more total-body strength than the seated overhead press because it requires more core stability and tension from the hips and legs. Seated presses don't require the same stability because the body is taking stability from the bench.
