STUDENTS OF INTRAMURALS
Joshua, 21, Economics
“Basketball is my absolute favorite Intramural program because I grew up playing it. I started playing JV in High School, and then ever since, it’s been my outlet to stay fit. I think being active should be a vital part of everyone’s life, it makes you feel better!”
when one receives their own blood pressure kit, one must take a selfie 🤳..it’s the rules and because I look as haggard as I feel, it’s heavily filtered 💁♀️ Today will be filled with studying #neoplasia & then a bit of revision on admitted patient assessments, as I have my assessment next week (hence the BP kit 👍), I also have to get a Flu shot today which is a requirement for placement, yippee😐
What are you getting stuck into today?
Hi students and friends! 👋🏼 I am excited for all of us to take off on a positive social media adventure! 🚀The purpose of this project is to highlight the ✨wonderful things✨STUDENTS do each and every day! On this page we will publish the BIG🌈 and the LITTLE👌🏼accomplishments. We will use the hashtag #positivesocialmediaproject for all posts! It is my hope that we can spread💫 kindness on social media and prove that it has the power encourage all kids, students and adults to #postpositivity#postcelebrations ❣️
A special message from yesterday's Head of School For the Day:
As Head of School, I, Sonya Marmolejo, ask our students to treat each other with kindness, respect, patience, love, and forgiveness. Let us not be mean or unkind; instead let's show the best of us by being a good friend to one another.
God loves us because we are His children, and we must love one another by treating others the way we want to be treated. Please use the Random Act of Kindness Board this week to spread some love. I will give your teachers a copy of the board to be posted in each classroom.
Finally, this Friday, in recognition of Anti-Bullying Day, we at Saint Mark's can wear a pink, blue, or purple shirt to symbolize a stand against bullying, an idea that originated in Canada.
Thank you for being awesome students at Saint Mark's!
Editor's Note: This Friday is Bucks for Jeans and Themes with a Fantasy Theme.
Students and staff are encouraged to wear pink, blue, or purple with the themed free dress.
Students or staff who chose to wear uniforms shirts and jeans, or who chose to wear regular uniforms, are encouraged to wear pink, blue, or purple socks or other accessories.

"When working with children in an educational setting, you hear a lot of stories about their home life. I once worked with a student who had very low self esteem and was very negative about his progression. But I never stopped motivating him to work harder. One time I overheard this student say, “Miss Hannah made me feel so good about myself.” I love being able to create a learning environment that my students feel safe and respected in. I'm so happy I can be that person to them. That's #WhyIServe ."

Happy Pi Day from Saint Mark's Episcopal School!
Each year since 2009, each Middle School student (and quite a few staff members) has decorated a digit of Pi to add to the infinite irrational decimal.
Highlights from this year include 7th grader Angelina Alkhouri's tribute to our owls as well as the beautiful work of art created by Lydia Pierce, Coach Zack's 18-month-old daughter.
