I am sick of society!
You don't need to be like a super model to being perfect. I am sick of hearing all the time "She is fat" "I am fat" "I need to go to the gym because nobody loves a 'fat girl'" I MEAN... just scream a lilttle bullshit against the fucking world and love yourself.

#repost bc if you think of your three best girl friends one of you will unfortunately have this happen. 1 in 8 women get breast cancer and everyone pushes screening/raises $/runs races (rightfully so) - but 1 in 4 suffer domestic violence at some point and no one wants to talk about it, or worse they blame the victim. Also, that means there’s a lot of abusive persons out there, and they move from one victim to the next without consequence. What would you do if you knew someone was a victim at home? Would you have the strength to help, or just stand by and talk about it? Food for thought. #domesticviolence#strong#strongwoman#strength#abuse#speakup#timesup#metoo#putthenailinit
Day 19 of Women's Month:
She is a Somalian-American politician from Minnesota. In 2016, she was elected a Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party member of The Minnesota House of Representatives. This made her the first Somalian-American Muslim legislator elected to office in the United States. Omar is the director of policy and initiatives of The Women Organizing Women Network. Finally, in 2014, Omar was named a rising star in the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party's women's Hall of Fame.
This is not a secret I need to keep. I have always tried to live my truths. I am not someone who only posts the good stuff. This is real life.
Tomorrow marks a month since my husband told me he wanted a divorce. The sudden loss of 24 years of love was a traumatic blow. As a stay at home mom, a previously stable future suddenly became unknown. The person I counted on daily, just melted into the floor. As with death, sometimes I think I catch a glimpse of his movement or hear his voice. Coming to terms with my part in this is painful and I have failed miserably at dealing with it gracefully.
But. I believe in God and have turned it over to Him. I have more peace, every passing day. I am a survivor. I can find a rainbow in every cloud. I still believe you never know what the day will bring and I will live with a hopeful heart. I am strong. I will be ok.
But. The hardest part... the worst part is this. My failure to keep my promise to two beautiful souls when they were born. The shame and sorrow here is deep. I'm frantically worried, but in my core, I know they have the ability to heal and use this sorrow to catapault themselves to better things. I know this because they astound me daily with their courage and resiliency. Their parents have failed them. But THEY will not fail. I will be their Mom, before I will be their friend. I will use this sadness to become a better listener, a better mother. I will support them in having a great relationship with their Dad. As a wise man told me, "You are still a family." And I will try to immulate that daily.
For those of you who have been helping me process this past month, and have been supporting me endlessly: I love you. Thank you.

SO much healing can be done SOLELY by recognizing the beauty, intelligence, resilience, and strength that the women around you possess.
Shift your competition with others into support, and I PROMISE that you will be divinely supported in ways you never imagined.
When you believe in others, you’re opening yourself up to start believing in yourself.
When you see the beauty in others, you’re opening yourself up to seeing the beauty in yourself.
And when you see the success that others have achieved and where they’ve come from to achieve that success, you’re opening yourself up to start receiving your own success.
We might all look different, have different privilege, experience different trauma.. but we’re all connected.
At the end of the day, we’re all the same.
Moving forward involves the acknowledgment that you’re a part of something so much greater than yourself.
It also involves recognizing and supporting the unique differences that each and every one of us possess.
Start cherishing and nurturing the unique differences that make you (first name) fucking (middle/last name).
I believe in you 💗
EVENT 2: FARMERS CARRY @80kg per hand - that’s my body weight, for a 50m track (25m up & back) I got 25 seconds & 5th in this event.
My goal for this was to do it with no drops, which I hadn’t been able to do in training. I tore my hands in training & if I had of done this in comp it would have stuffed up the rest of my day so I’m glad that didn’t happen! PB for me ✅
I finished & turned around to cheer on my fellow competitor cos I’m a good sport 👍
