Have you tried swinging the mace or the gada? It's an amazing way to improve posture and strengthen the core muscles. Managed a little practice this morning before i get my shoulder surgery done tomorrow. It's definitely way better than it was the time before i got the opportunity to learn from Paul Wolkowinski. And having it done with as best technique as you can definitely beats not knowing what you are doing. Just like the time I started kettlebell training and grip training. Not until I learnt from the gurus who know the in-depth details. Btw, we are working on getting Paul to teach a full day Mace/Gada that will cover all the subtleties of using this ancient warrior tool. So watch out for this space for the date. He does not trained with me very often but when he comes he sure make it a point to take my advice very seriously. Never really used to do pull ups but now did 6 reps pretty well today. All I told him was grease the groove in his pull ups by accumulating 10 reps on most days. He did that and that's it. No surprise to me he did this today. Amazing snatches in SLOW MO from @terriesunsetcherries  this morning at #strongerforlifegym. And it's her 1st time in awhile she did not have wrist guard on. And the guard is not required when you "catch" the bell at the top rather than muscle it up. It will stop banging your wrist. Totally on point how she set up the snatches. And on the road to less sucks, you have to regress and prepare the body to perform the given moves better. It will certainly pay off rather than keep hammering your head against the wall doing moves the body is not ready for. Sometimes, you can't just do a lift. And recognise that it's okay to suck and nothing wrong with it. The most important thing is find ways to suck less otherwise how can you improve. Yes had to test my limit a little bit on the last or 15th set by going for 10+10. Don't let procrastination stop you from training. And don't even think for a moment. Just jump into it and do it. The more you think the more likely you will miss a training session. Just get it done! Do it properly. And while you are at it, you might as  work on each rep and not go through motion. Make each rep count.

Glad I am able to complete this 8-min workout or rather more like a little test. And here is the comparison between the 1st set (left) and final (8th & right)) set of 10+10 of 24kg snatches per min. The test was to have them look as similar possible. And to do this workout or rather more like an exam you got to earn it meaning you have to show up and do the training so that the body is physically prepared to take on the stress of the session. Imagine not being prepared not doing all the studying (or training) and taking your final year exam. Well don't expect to do well because there is no preparation. Unfortunately, most people approach every training tougher sessions like they are going for a school exam. The most important thing is they went away with knowledge how they can squat better and towards excellence rather than perfect. So took about 20 min off my housework and did the snatches. If I don't have health, I can't take care of my family. Nearly feel like putting this training session off because it's easy to procrastinate and come up with EXCUSES to skip training and say do it later. Glad I SHOWED UP and done my last set of 8+8 per min snatches! Because there is a good chance I will skip later too. And I made sure I get the best use of my 10-min snatches. And best use is not just going as hard as possible. In my opinion, be in the moment perform each rep properly and let each rep of what you lift be a lesson and make it better so your body can get naturally good at perform proper reps. No one ever get better by going through motion. And sometimes you may not be doing what you thought you are doing until you checked your form on the video. In this case, I could lock out better to the top.
