👣 135. My first ever sugar cane juice.
I've always turned my nose up (such an odd expression!) at this drink, there are so many healthier options. And it has the word sugar in it and that's too be avoided as much as possible right?
But as the 'juicers' are on just about every road in India I finally succumbed.
Oh boy - delicious and refreshing.
So the next thing I know, I'm on Google trying to find some redeeming facts so that I can have it again.
Amazingly it has some.
You can get over 50% of your daily fibre intake from one 13g serving.
It's also rich in antioxidants and contains calcium, potassium, magnesium and phosphorus.
But no matter how you dress it up, it's still sugar so maybe I won't be drinking it everyday.
