A huge thanks to all our referees and particularly Eric Hewitt, our tireless referee coordinator and organiser who put in a serious shift over the week at the @rpns7s 👏👏👏 Doesn’t that new kit look good eh? @gilbertrugby @cboeglobalmarkets
Curious about Scandi clothes like these two are curious about... everything? You should head over to @littlewildthingshop and check out the Easter Sale. $25 and under. For organic, ethically made, amazing, bright and hard wearing clothes. Just be careful, because you will fall down the rabbit hole. But don’t worry, Scandi Wonderland is literally the most colourful and jolly place you can be. And for those of you who already know the joy of these clothes, go stash up. You know you want to! Like seriously, afterpay is there for a reason (or so I perpetually tell myself).
Day 23 for #igquiltfest Stash. Here's some of my stash. These shelves hold my ruler-folded pieces that are 1/2 yard or larger, plus some random pieces. I have 2 armoires where I keep all my fat quarters in plastic bins, sorted by color. Plus bins full of scraps under the sewing desk. It never looks quite this good, and the rest of the room is mostly a disaster! I'm not showing that! 😄 I'm working on reducing my stash, giving away fabric I've "outgrown"/will never use.
#IGQuiltFest DAY 23: stash ❤️
This is my #africanwaxprint#fabricstash of all the leftover odds & ends I've saved over the years. I'm going to piece them in strips with the grays for a #babyquilt gift based on @dsquilts #adifferentstripequilt - an idea I've wanted to execute since I took her workshop last November! 😍
(I can't show the real photos of my #stash right now because it's a total nightmare! I jumped on the #Konmari bandwagon last August & went through all of my clothes & then pulled all kinds of crap out of my bedroom into giant piles in my living room. Most of my #fabric was in very precarious un-photogenic stacks on my couch & coffee table. (It still is...) But then I got insanely busy sewing like a madwoman for my quilt pop-up & then the holiday markets & my Konmari efforts were totally abandoned. After the holidays, my pre-Uganda quilting class prep got kicked into overdrive & the stacks got even crazier when I sorted through everything that didn't make the "Does this spark joy?" cut to take with me to #Africa . Right now I have no more deadlines or commissions on my plate & as soon as this little quilt is gifted I will be FREE! I am so excited to seriously declutter my apartment/life & let go of tons of stuff I don't need, use or love! ❤️
Day 23 #igquiltfest#stash . Well here it is. My closet has organization of colors in the cubbies. The tubs *gasp* are backings and specific like Canadian, Easter etc. Second photo is half yards the other one yard cuts. Third is fat-quarters organized by colors. Fourth is the precuts. How did I get so many? My name is Heather and I collect fabric it’s a useful disease. 😂 #stash#fabricstorage#fabricstash#itsallminein5years
Day 23 of #igquiltfest is Stash. I wish I had my sewing room like some I see, but mine is more chaos than anything. Shelves, drawers, plastic bins, stacks and piles. I have some fabric set aside for planned projects but others I just purchased because I loved the fabric! But one can never have enough fabric, can you? #quilting#stash#fabric#sewingroom @amyscreativeside
#stash is day 23 of #igquiltfest
My #blackandgold bin is overflowing and stirred up. We also have some folded pieces trying to buddy-up with friends, a collection of random fat quarters, and some stacks ready for a project to happen.
There are a couple of ikea drawer sets with 2-yard-plus pieces folded on comic book boards. .
