WEIGHT LOSS UPDATE
It’s been 1 week since I started the weight loss supplement. In this week I have sure put the supplement to the test. I have some pretty serious emotional things going on, I took a trip across country, and still somehow maintaining daily life. I’ve stress ate, made sure to enjoy the foods I can only eat in Ohio, drank, everything you don’t do on healthy weight loss journeys. To put it into the most honest perspective, I took a bath and ate a whole bag of peanut m&ms before dinner tonight. 🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ I realized today marks one week that I’ve been taking the supplement once per day. It never made me feel weird or ‘off’ in any way. I’m insanely sensitive to things so this was a pleasant surprise. When I stepped on the scale my pounds have not changed BUT when I got the tape measure out I found that I already lost 3.5 total inches.
My plan is to test this supplement for 2 weeks. Most people that are taking the supplement are taking it twice per day. I’m considering trying the twice per day for week 2 so I can see how i feel about that before I add work outs and healthy eating habits to my journey. Depending on how things are going I may do 3 weeks of the supplement before my workout program but only time will tell what I’m in the mood for.
Last time I was in New Orleans I was vegan, so I didn’t get a chance to stuff my face with sea food. I might need to put it back on my bucket list. Click the link in my bio for travel vlogs and more. #DreamBIGPeople
Six months ago, @johanna_yoo snapped a few pictures of me while we talked about my hair for @thecurltalkproject It was a beautiful afternoon, unusually warm and we shared stories about being young black French women from Paris living in the UK. In case you can’t tell, I’m obsessed with hair. I became natural because I had an accident when I was 15 and had to shavbmy hair. Because I was hanging out with hoteps back then, I told my mum I will never have relax my hair again and will become natural. No one believed me. I am still natural to this day. People’s perception about my hair has changed. They used to tell me it was nappy and disgusting, and then become amazed when it grew long and became colourful. Because my hair is 4A/3C and I’m dark skinned, most people simply believe it’s fake, or tell me that I have good hair because it curls 🙃. However, having natural hair doesn’t mean I’m free for eurocentric standards. My obsession with growing my hair long (MBL) at least is rooted in my flawe belief that qi will be prettier with long hair, and that I will prove people wrong. Because I know that being pretty is power and I don’t feel pretty unless I have long hair. Regardless, going natural is one of the most amazing, proudest thing I have done. The interview is now live.
