Empower your students with ‘I AM’ self-portraits. We used tracing paper and watercolour paint and the icing on the cake were the I AM statements and declarations all around themselves. ❥ Inspire your students daily and help them connect art with their Soul. #artlessonsforkids#selfportraits#iam#watercolorart

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about things that affect me personally and about things that affect us as a society. Today, I was so fortunate and happy to have been able to take in this beautiful weather...to hear the ripples in the water, to hear the geese flying above me, to feel the motion of the water pulling me on the floating dock. I was also so very happy to hear children playing on the playground at the park...to see parents holding their children’s’ hands. As I was lying on the dock, taking this first picture, a little girl came running down, and started jumping and laughing with her mom. It made me happy
With that, I want to say how deeply saddened I am with all of these senseless mass killings. I don’t get it. I never will. I sometimes say...”Thank god I don’t have children.” It breaks my heart. It also infuriates me to hear conspiracy theorists say all of these people are crisis actors. Excuse me for one second here, but if I ever lost a loved one, (and I did on 9/11), and I had a conspiracy theorist saying these people are crisis actors, and this shit is all fake, I’d dare you to come up to my face to say that. You’d be knocked the f*%k out by me personally. What is your mental illness if you think that way? These people just lost their children they cannot replace
So, with that..I encourage you to take time to reflect, take time to love, take time to enjoy life. Some of us are luckier than others. Life is precious

It's a saving money kind of situation. Sometimes it works, sometimes it goes horribly wrong and I sleep for 18 hours. It's really maybe the second best way of "pretend-forgetting" to have involuntarily been pushed out of another human being and into the biosphere. Please put that on my grave.
Educators, if your students have formed new friendships with students who are different than them, you know that is a huge act of bravery and generosity. It’s something to celebrate! We want your students to share about the importance of their friendship! Click the link in bio for an opportunity to have their story shared and win $150 for an ultimate friends day. ⠀
