Honestly I love this new program I've been doing and I love the results I'm seeing. 4 weeks to go and I've never felt so driven and excited to finish a program!! I have truly come a long way since day 1 of this program and I can't believe today was already day 57! 😄
Some people have asked me what keeps me motivated or gets me to do my workouts every day and stay on track with my nutrition. Well I wanted to share a little secret with you all. Some days I'm not motivated and I don't want to do my workout or eat my healthy meal. Those are the days where I find my motivation from my goals I've set for myself and from my amazing support group filled with so many awesome people who are on this journey with me!! See we all post our sweaty selfies and our yummy healthy meals and new shake recipes and it just lights a fire under me to continue on towards my goals and stay on track! 💪
The amazing people in my support group are one of the main reasons I am able to stay on track, stay motivated, and they get me to push myself harder! I am so grateful for this group of people who most I've never met but they all feel like my family! Everyone's always there for each other to help eachother, to motivate eachother, and to inspire eachother!! We are one big family and I wouldn't want it any other way! So today's motivation for getting my workout in and staying on track with my nutrition is because of those awesome people in that group. They posted their sweaty selfies and it just motivated me to get my workout in so I could post mine too!! 😍

Health isn’t just about fitness. It’s also about your mental state and your ability to deal with life in general. Everyday after my workout, I stop get a coffee and write in my amazing SELF journal that I got from @thebodsquadhealthandfitness for a workshop we’ve participated in. Not only do I try to plan out my day but it forces me to evaluate where I’m at mentally and work on my goals, be that health and fitness or just general life goals. Always remember to take time to stop and think about yourself and what you want and need out of life. You and your mental wellbeing are just as important as your physical health💜
When people ask me what motivates me it’s always the same reason that comes to my mind.
I get up every morning and try to do everything in my power to make this guy as happy as possible.
It’s not easy. There’s days I sit there and cry, there’s days I sit there and ask myself why, there’s day I just don’t wanna do anything.
But at the end of the day, I shouldn’t question the past but instead live my life as best as possible. Everything happens for a reason and I believe there was a reason for this. It’s made me a stronger person and makes me wanna be the best person I possibly can.

I have such a hard time finding good vegetables when I'm on travel. These brussel sprouts and cucumber salad is hitting the spot! I highly recommend this restaurant. I may even go again tomorrow!

A short essay on healing + what this photo represents.
My heart was shattered & exposed during a breakup two years ago. I hadn't explored the depths of human sadness & grief in that intensity before. I felt as though every layer of my identity & vision of an ideal future including a happy home, marriage & family was stripped away to absolutely nothing.
I cried so much during that time.
I wondered where I made a mistake. I was proud of the internal work I'd done on myself and "thought" I was in the place to receive the love I believed I deserved. "What did I do wrong? Why are you doing this to me? I thought you wanted me to me happy" I cried to the universe. "You asked for a love and partner that lasts. I'm taking you there. This is not it. Come on, let's go"
This was true. Two weeks prior, I sensed something wasn't right & asked the universe to help a girl out. Change is rarely easy.
Everyday after work, I laced up my Mizunos and ran my heart out. It felt like 1x1 therapy sessions with the universe. I was intensely focused on my healing & growth. I remember knowing that the work I was doing in that moment was preparing me to meet my soulmate in the future. "Im worthy of great love. I am great love. This situation taught me that the right person won't leave me and for that, I'm grateful" Once I felt confident about myself again, I moved onto visualization.
I began daydreaming about what I wanted in a partner, what our life would be like, how we'd feel. Premonitions of a family, where we'd live - all kinds good stuff entered my awareness.
Surges of powerful energy flooded my body and I felt myself getting stronger everyday. Little by little, pain was replaced with hope, then belief, then knowing. Sometimes our heartbreaks are the best thing that could ever happen to us. #HUMANXBEING
