All my posts in February are going to be factual with some information that is new to me. Maybe not you! Anyhow the first one is a caterpillar or the Spitfire Grub. It is the larvae of the sawfly. They feed on Eucalypts and these grubs had eaten out the top of a small tree near Westray. They cluster together in the day time for protection and eat at night. If disturbed they secrete an irritating liquid to their prey. Frogs and lizards eat them. The adult sawfly is not a fly , more like a wasp but they don’t sting or eat. #factualfebruary#scenicrimtourism#scenicrimescapes#visitscenicrim#destinationscenicrim
Not Quite Yoga is up and running with Toni. Every second Wednesday, so the next session is January 17th and also on Sunday mornings.
While it’s so warm the sessions start at 7.30am by Christmas Creek at Cave Rock.
Anyone is welcome to come along, $10 for about 45 minutes of gentle stretching and relaxation. Let us know if you would like to come and we will book you in. By the way that is @arrawarrajim flat out doing yoga( he’s not fast asleep in the morning sun) #yoga#yogafun#scenicrimtourism#scenicrimescapes#visitscenicrim#destinationscenicrim
