I’ve been having problems setting up a toolpath on my cnc machine for a keyhole on the back of my bottle openers so I had to set up a jig on the router table. Just drop the board down at the wood stop and pull it down to the tape mark and back. Don’t make fun of my fence either 😂. A new router table is on my list to build soon!

Throwback to the first more detailed piece I made 2 years ago when I decided to get serious about pyrography. Prior to this I made simple silhouette designs with no shading at all. It feels good to have found a style and medium that I love. My passion for pyrography is just keeps growing! 🔥❤️
Oh I was so gutted that I couldn’t make it today to the @rockettstgeorge.co.uk outlet shop opening. I’ve been to a couple of warehouse sales and those wall lights are one of my many treasures from there, always worth a visit if you live close by. But I had a lovely morning with the two beautiful ladies Paula from @paulamorrisoninteriors and Poonam @modernluxeblog drinking coffee and chatting all about Interiors in Poonams gorgeous Victorian house. Seriously, this house is goals!!! This little lady (she is soooo gorgeously petite ☺️) managed to create a beautiful, moody, feminine but masculine, “grown-up”, glamorous and interesting home with treasures from all over the world. Just to give you an idea, the house starts with a pink door with a mermaid tail knocker... (is that how it’s called 🤔). She also has a really nice blog where she interviews some well known bloggers and influencers. Check her out, you won’t be disappointed! And Paula is a very experienced interior designer, who a)has got little children, so knows what works and what doesn’t and can rely to all those “dirty paws” and “toys are everywhere” issues and b) saves you money! Because she finds the right space for everything you actually thought wasn’t right anymore! It was so interesting to listen to her ideas and how she sees the things in a rather big picture than room to room. I just played the little mouse and was sucking up all the information I could get from both ladies. Check Paula out, as she gives great tips from candle set up to rug, to wallpaper or furniture. Very interesting day for me ☺️ Hope you all had a fab and sunny Thursday, too 😘😘😘
The wall for my cast iron is finally finished in the little house. Ed did a shou sugi ban process on the wood, which gave it a really nice burned and rustic look. Next up is the backsplash and hopefully we will eventually tackle those floors.
