RUN • 7 dagen tot de Tokio marathon. Ik zal er niet over liegen, de New York marathon vind ik een regelrechte b*tch. Maar 105 dagen later kan ik na 11 weken, 44 trainingen en 594,9 kilometer eindelijk zeggen dat ik er officieel klaar voor ben om die 42,195 kilometer te rocken. 💞
Today was a day of reflection. A meeting of the past, present, and future. -
I remembered all of last year. The great races ~ SCMM Half (Bombay), UTKC70k (Thailand), Sacred Forest 25k (Italy), Alfa Trails 21k (Bombay), JHU 50k (Chennai) ~ the races I DNS due to the ankle injury, Matheran 50k, Malnad Ultra 110k ~ and the pain & frustration of an injury that no one was able to understand or treat. -
I soaked in the scorching sun as we reached the summit. And embraced the unparreled bliss that makes getting up at 3am and driving out to the trails so worth it. -
And I looked forward to getting fitter for this year. Coming back with a healed ankle, running some new trails (hopefully with a bib), and spending more time with the @univedtrailrunnersclub -

Morning #RunTime !
