A wonderful tonic to combat a dry, flaky scalp, promote hair growth and encourage strong and lustrous locks. Try a treatment once weekly of 10mls jojoba oil (or 5mls of Walnut Oil in lieu of 5ml Jojoba which can be very helpful if you are experiencing a dry and itchy flaky scalp), 2 drops Rosemary, 2 drops Cedarwood Virginian and 1 drop Lavender. Massage well into the scalp and hair and leave for an hour, or for a more intensive treatment leave overnight and rinse out in the morning. 💆♀ 💖💧 #rosemary#essentialoils#aroma#aromatherapy#nzgrown#nzmade#aromaflex#aromaflex_nz#hair#goodhairday#biogro

Hey friends, if you're interested in seeking conscious companies that have YOUR HEALTH as their first priority, then I'd like to introduce you to @balmskincare. I know I've posted about Balm a lot. I've been photographing our products and creatively collaborating with our team to represent our vision and mission through photography for about 1.5 years... and I can tell you one thing for sure... this company is legit! It's not somewhat "natural" or filled with 2 organic ingredients and 17 other chemicals. IT.IS.RAW. IT.IS.ALIVE. and (bonus 😉) IT.ACTUALLY.WORKS!!! I cannot say enough good things about it, and how proud I am to be associated with it. If you love supporting the #cbus#smallbusiness#startup#community here in Columbus, then you should definitely pick up some of our products to see how your skin responds. I was entirely on board with our company mission before trying our products, and when I did I was amazed by them and love using them to care for and enhance the health of my skin.
I love small businesses, and I love our small business❤️️🌿❤️️🌿 Photo by me, styling by the lovely and talented @thejoyenthusiast 🌿
When there’s no time to DIY my own fresh batch of peppermint shampoo, I totally love using @sheamoisture hair products! Since losing my mom to cancer, you can’t help but become all too aware of the high amount of chemical exposures found in everyday living. So I jump at every chance I get to choose products with better ingredients.
For those of us who don’t mind making your own hair products 🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️, I’m really feeling this #diyshampoo recipe ⬇️⬇️⬇️: Mix the following ingredients together into a glass jar:
2 oz. organic coconut milk,
2 oz. peppermint Castile liquid soap,
20 drops rosemary essential oil
1/2 tspn. jojoba oil.
Make sure to give it a good shake before each use. Apply from your roots towards the ends for 1/2 minute. Make sure to use it all up within 30 days for best results. But, it’s so refreshing, you most likely won’t have a problem with that!
