Here was my winning submission for the 2016 Rose City ComicCon's "Sasquatch in the City" comic contest. I won a free table to sell my comics and was marked as a "Special Guest". It was an amazing experience, but it was promoted as being a way bigger deal than it ended up being. Aside from getting the table, there was no follow through to make the comic public or to even mention me or why I was a guest. The convention coordinator even was talking to me about doing more of these comics for them, but I guess they lost interest. #comiccon#sasquatch#sasquatchinthecity#comics#rosecitycomiccon
This backpack and foam sword (safe for comic-cons) combo has inspired, and reminded, me that I'm overdue for my long-pondered #Link#cosplay . And #RoseCityComicCon would be a perfect debut! The shield will all in one be aesthetically accurate and a functional bag of holding for smartphone, 3DS (StreetPass yo!), and comic-con swag.😁
Nice post from a #rosecitycomiccon client. Pinups with some likeness in the are challenging but she was great to work with. Some process on this one to follow, because there was some interesting stuff in there. #trdl#thirdraildesignlab /// #Repost @mrscarricorogers ・・・
Meet @thirdraildesignlab at a Portland Comic Con. We commissioned a pinup tattoo for my husband. Thom delivered! Not only giving us an amazing art piece but was so nice to work with! #pinup#comiccon#art#tattoos

As 2018’s event schedule starts to fill in, I’m revisiting all the fantastic events and the people I met from 2017. This image comes courtesy of @ptwmedia, who pulled me aside at @rosecitycc for a couple quick shots and absolutely blew me away with the results!
My first cosplay, the Tenth Doctor, was a commissioned cosplay, but I still love wearing it. I prefer to wear things that I have made or put together, it feels more authentic. Then again, this was only my first step into the world of cosplay. I've taken the Doctor to 3 different conventions now, and I've worn him for birthday parties. The thing I'm most proud of with this one is the wig. It was my first wig search on eBay, and when it came it was much redder than I had thought. No matter, I made do and went to styling it. My mom trimmed it on me, cutting around my ears and giving the bangs a trim. My sister helped with some of the original bang styling. I did the finishing touches on the cuts and style. I'm so lucky to have a supportive family who helps me with my cosplay! I love them.

Well I just booked my hotel, so I think it’s safe to say that I’m officially coming back for Rose City Comic Con this year. I’m already planning my cosplays for that weekend. But most of all, I’m excited to see my friends there once again while meeting some new faces along the way. See you all then!!!
