Before we bind the table we have to upholster it with the fabric of your choosing! Need a design for your new project or something added to an old one? We can help you through the entire process. 😁 #DineRiteSeating
Steps 9 and 10: Cut the foam and fabric to size. For the foam I used a serrated bread knife and an electric knife and cut it just smaller than the top of the foot stool. For the fabric I used a rotary cutter and mat, but good, sharp scissors would've worked fine too. I cut it large enough to cover the foot stool + the foam + room to staple. #almostdone#upcycledfurniture#furniture#decor#reupholstery#handmade
Finally finished! I found this vintage French sofa on Craigslist last fall! It was a golden velvet and didn’t really work with my colors. So I bravely decided to reupholster it myself! 😬 I watched @missmustardseed ‘s video series on reupholstering and her double welting tute and got busy! It took some time, lots of patience, and sore fingers, but I’m so happy I did it! Now I know why upholstery pros charge what they do!!! But, I love it now! For a DIY gal like me, this was like a bucket list project! You can find a before pic in my feed! .
How beautiful is this fabric? I just love it and I'm simply dying to create something with it. I'm thinking reupholster a couch or some delightful scatter cushions. Anyone have an old couch that needs a new life or would like to scatter these designs around the house with some custom made scatters? Give us a shout. #scatters#awesomefabric#francoisevgalleryinteriors#reupholstery
Day off... starting off with corri catch up and a cup of tea 🖤
▪️ The sun is out (finally) so I'm going to paint my front and back gate this morning before I attempt to make some progress on my 15,000 word dissertation 😳
▪️ This poof was about to be thrown in the tip when I saved it. It originally had cream legs the top was filthy to say the least. I painted the legs a black gloss and the top went through some extensive cleaning and now I couldn't be more pleased with the pop of colour it adds to my living room . The best thing is it cost £0 just the use of some old paint I found lying around. The best things in life are free 🙌🏼💛 _______________________________________________________
