The Bible doesn’t say ask for forgiveness for the remission of sins because we were forgiven by the sacrifice of Jesus and his blood.
〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️ Ephesians 4:32 King James Version (KJV)
32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake HATH FORGIVEN you.
〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️we don’t have to confess our sins because we are made SINLESS by the sacrifice of Jesus,FOREVER
〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️ Hebrews 10:12 But this man, after he had offered ONE sacrifice for SINS FOR EVER, sat down on the right hand of God;
〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️The Bible (Gods Word) also mentions that, once we believe (Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day), then we receive remission of sins...not when we ask for forgiveness, or when we confess, but when we BELIEVE, then we receive remission of sins. It would make ZERO sins to REBELIEVE anytime we sin for the remission of sins, and that is why, when we first believe, we received eternal life, and eternal doesn’t end.
11For both PROPHET and PRIEST are PROFANE; yea, IN MY HOUSE have I FOUND THEIR WICKEDNESS, saith the LORD.
12Wherefore THEIR WAY SHALL BE unto them as SLIPPERY WAYS IN THE DARKNESS: they shall BE DRIVEN ON, and FALL THEREIN: for I WILL BRING EVIL UPON THEM, even the YEAR OF THEIR VISITATION, saith the LORD.
22 But IF THEY HAD STOOD IN MY COUNSEL, and had CAUSED MY PEOPLE TO HEAR MY WORDS ( the laws ), then THEY SHOULD HAVE TURNED THEM FROM THEIR EVIL WAY, and FROM THE EVIL OF THEIR DOINGS.
26 HOW LONG SHALL THIS BE IN THE HEART OF THE PROPHETS THAT PROPHESY LIES? yea, THEY ARE PROPHETS OF THE DECEIT OF THEIR OWN HEART.
31 Behold, I AM AGAINST THE PROPHETS, saith the Lord, that use their tongues, and say, He saith.
32 Behold, I AM AGAINST THEM THAT PROPHESY FALSE DREAMS, saith the Lord, and do tell them, AND CAUSE MY PEOPLE TO ERR BY THEIR LIES, and by their lightness; YET I SENT THEM NOT, nor commanded them: THEREFORE THEY SHALL NOT PROFIT THIS PEOPLE AT ALL, saith the Lord.
6And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,
7Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and THAT WILL BY NO MEANS CLEAR THE GUILTY; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.
8And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.
9And he said, If now I have found grace in thy sight, O Lord, let my Lord, I pray thee, go among us; FOR IT IS A STIFFNECKED PEOPLE; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for thine inheritance.
I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.
The reason why we are sad come from two main reasons alone. First we are sad because we disobey Allah without repentance and turn away from His remberance. And secondly we are sad because we forget about Allah's Mercy and compare our weaknesses and shortcomings to believers who do more righteous actions (that we can only see with our eyes on the outside) than we see in ourselves.
But have you forgotten about all of those times you broke down in tears crying out to Allah? Have you forgotten about all of the duas you made when tears were flowing down your face because you do nothing else except what seems to be another failure after failure, and another mistake after mistake? Do you not realize how powerful those duas were and that perhaps Allah is storing something up far better for you in the hereafter than you can fathom?
You may be slacking and struggling to establish deen in your life, but the fact you pick yourself back up after crying those tears and keep trying again and again with your Islam even if you have to keep trying until you die... those tears after every fall will be more beloved to Allah than the most pious of people who never knew what hardship, struggle, the fall and those uncontrollable tears for Allah's sake ever felt like.
Don't ever count yourself out, we have no idea how Merciful Allah is and the stories of the man who killed 99 people, or the prostitute who fed water to the thirsty dog are there for us the reflect on so that we don't beat ourselves up, but instead know that there is no one worthy of worship except Allah, And that He is the Most Merciful, the Most Forgiving, and the All Aware.
So keep on trying after every mistake or failure you make, never stop crying your tears or cease your efforts, that may very well be your path to attaining Jannatul Al Firdous. And Allah knows best.❤️
Forgiveness is just the first step, and that’s between you and God, but apologizing and reconciliation is for your neighbor. God cares about your relationships with others too. Get it right. #Apologize for #Revival 🙌🏾🔥🕊 #Repent#Restore#Reconcile then you can #worship 🗣 Don’t speak in tongues until you can speak to your enemies ❤️
This post has been in the making for a long time. I have decided to change the page name from "@Theogicalcalx" to "@Break Your Idol". I've decided to give the page more of a new look, new name, and concentrated focus but still bring in the same content and posts. This will change tonight in a couple of hours so, just a heads up on the change...just in case you don't recognize the name on your feed. I wanted to expand my platform to a blog format for more interaction and space to write more than what's limited on Instagram per post. This is a good thing :)
I will continue to post on Instagram and all the new articles I post will be directed to a blog post for more details and content. All of my older posts will still be up for reading.
Many of you have asked if they can repost my posts and this just makes it easier to copy and paste if you want to do that. @breakyouridol
For those who have been following me from the beginning (and new followers) as "@Theologicalcalx"... thank you for your words, support, engagements and questions. You all have been an encouragement to me to continue with this ministry.
Why "Break Your Idol"?
It is something in our natural state...that we tend to do and are good at. Creating Idols. That famous quote from John Calvin exposes the topic: " The human heart is a factory of idols. Every one of us is, from his mother’s womb, is an expert in inventing idols." Anything or anyone can become an idol in our lives because whatever we love more than the Lord is, by definition, an idol. And because our hearts are idol factories, per Calvin's quote above, we are all continually tempted to make temporal things into ultimate things, and so we must be on guard against idolatry in our lives.

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee. Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness. O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise. For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem. Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.
[Gabriel

This is one of my favorite scriptures: "If you love me, you will keep my commandments.”
John 14:15. It’s Day 14 of the @weareoxygendc #oxygen21days challenge in the gospel of John. Jesus taught that those who love him will obey him. We can’t proclaim to love Jesus but neglect keeping his commandments under the guise of grace and mercy. We can’t bark at people to not judge us when our disobedience, and therefore lack of true love for Christ, are obvious and laid bare for the whole world to see! This mentality that we can do whatever we want to do and still love Jesus is a lie from Satan that needs to be rebuked. Do what Christ has asked you to do. Repent where he has challenged you to repent. Love Jesus the way he asked to be loved...by obeying him. #christianblogger#dailydevotional#womeninministry#womenintheword#bibleverseoftheday#Jesus#obey#obedience#repent#love#commandments#loveJesus#biblejournaling#biblestudy
