It was a wonderful morning for February's #herowod "Hammer". Today we worked out in honor of U.S. Army 1st Sergeant Michael "Hammer" Bordelon, who was killed in 2005 from injuries sustained from a car bomb explosion that detonated near him in Iraq.
5 rounds for time:
5 power cleans
10 front squats
90 seconds rest between rounds
95# women's weight
This wod exposed my current weakness...rig work. Do I have pull-ups? Yes, however, I reverted to singles very early and felt the time drag during those 20 reps each round, but once you know, you can work at strengthening what needs attention!
Thanks again @montiurnek for gathering our wonderful community together each month to work towards a common goal! Everyone should be proud of the effort and hard work this morning! Scaled or Rx...each of you showed up, pushed hard, and walked away with another fitness victory. So proud to be apart of that healthy cycle😃💪🤘
Can't let the day pass without acknowledging CHP Officer Earl Scott..EOW 2/17/06. 12 years ago today. Fair winds and following seas....and a heart felt thanks to all my friends both retired and active. Cheers boys! 🍻 Thanks for holding the line! ........AC

We have all been told to live with no regrets, but we do. How we deal with regrets depends on us. I’ve told my children they will have regrets in life, so they need to minimize the regrets they will have. They (We) have to act upon opportunities presented to them (us). Not letting opportunities pass them by. The old saying of Carpe diem “seize the day” comes to mind. Seize the day, what are you going to seize today? What opportunity has been presented to you to act upon? .
This shirt from @apemanstrong says a lot to me and the reason for the post, #FINISH . I want to finish my life stronger then I started it and I want to encourage my family to finish strong too (seize the day). Go after your dreams. Do what it takes to get there, even the things you don’t want to do. Don’t let the crazy stuff of life take you down. Focus your mind and see the finish line. I desperately love my children and there is nothing more important to me than to see them health, cared for, and chasing their dreams. #apemanstrong#finish#carpediem#seizetheday#regrets#powerlifting#weighttraining#bodybuilding#gymlife#tatted#photography#music#kids#family#marines#usmc#devildog#ptsdawarness#rememberthefallen
A sad day for our community, for Brevard County. Thinking of our brothers and sisters in blue after the tragic loss of the Brevard Sheriff’s Deputy FTO Kevin Stanton this morning. We honor his service to our community and all those in blue who step out everyday to make our communities safe for all of us. #rememberthefallen#thinblueline#brevardcountysheriff
February 14th, 2018. A day supposed to be filled with the love and happiness of celebration, two days prior to today, was filled with dread and terror. Our school was the target of an individual’s hatred and the result was the 17 losses of our peers, our teachers, our friends, and even our family. We can only look now to the support of each other, and remember our fellow eagles that have fallen with a smile in their memory that represents every good, joyous moment you had shared with them. Remembering their quirks, their ambitions, their talents, their smiles, their laughs, their dreams and carrying in our hearts day by day. #falleneaglesmovement#eaglepride#rememberthefallen#inmemory#neverforget#neveragain#marjorystonemandouglas#foreverinmyheart#foreverinmemory
