Toy tractor, suspender clip, Draped Bust large cent 1802, another Draped Bust unknown year, 1986 -Canadian quarter. Part of a clad spill $1.42 in the spill. Liked the toning so it’s in the photo. 1935 mercury dime, snap button with a basket weave. Blue thread. Key hole, unknown round object and a piece of a door plate. Check out the video soon on my buddy’s YouTube “we dig history” -not pictured- the two pouches full of trash pulled. It was a good two hours until I got my first find. (Suspender clip). Perseverance pays off. Very happy with how easy it was to switch between the low and high frequency coils. I just carried the coil with me. Also, the high frequency coil had no issues with the active dog fence. A lot of chatter on the low frequency coil.
I'm struggling to identify the 2 items on the far right from these relics I just got in from Latvia. I'm guessing they are used in artillery guns but what gun and which side used them ? If you know please let me know , measurements are shown in the other pics .
Thanks in advance ✊🏻#WW2#relics#history
Basilica of Bom Jesus ... the church that houses the saintly uncorrupted remains of St Francis Xavier the Jesuit missionary 🙏
Except his right arm is in Rome and a Portuguese woman bit off his left toe ... disgusting ... I don't know where that is ... I didn't want the guide to bring it up again. 🤢💩 He died from dysentery on the way to China ... the Chinese didn't want him so he went to Malaka in Malaysia ...when they dug him up on two occasions his corpse was in tact then he was brought back here.
They bring St Francis out every 10 years and 5 million people come to see him. The next is 2024. He has a Feast every December.
Church is late 1500's. The Portuguese built it ... due to my ADD this is all I could take in. Oh ... he was short .... 🤓
There was a St Anthony statue in there and in these snaps ... he helps me every day 🙏
On the reverse sides of each coin we see the appropriate monarchs. The back of the 1909 farthing and the 1910 Canadian penny depict Edward VII (seventh) facing to the right and bordered by the Latin inscription: “Edwardvs VII. By The Grace of God. Omnipotent King. Eternal Defender (?). Emperor of India”. The back of the 1911 Canadian penny has George V (the fifth) facing to the left. This Latin inscription reads: “Georgivs V Rex Et In: Imp” - “George the fifth. King and emperor of India”. Edward and George were son and grandson of Queen Victoria. As is more well known, George was first cousins with Tsar Nicholas II of Russia and Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany. #antiques#coins#history#numismatics#Canada#unitedkingdom#relics#1909#1910#1911#farthing#coincollecting#houseofsaxecoburgandgotha#houseofwindsor
