The average American woman has over 300 prices of clothing and adds an additional 64 peices yearly. However it is predicted that men typically have more base on there job. Ranging anywhere from 300-500 articles of clothing. Most of these go unworn for years as the average American only avidly wears 10% of there full wardrobe.
In light of this I have decided to detox my closet. On March 1st I will be starting #project333 wearing only 33 peices of clothing for 3 months. Let's note a few things:
Today I counted and I have 368 peices of clothing not including underwear, socks, or shoes.
I will be giving away hopefully around 200 and selling the best things cause I broke af.
Which will leave me with about 33-50 peices of clothing. This includes shoes, ties, sweaters and jacket, hats and, accessories. This will obviously take some time but I hope this detox will be a way. Of calming my soul.
PS thanks for reading all this and pray for a snow day tomorrow 💛❄
