Pssst. A little birdie told me a bunch of RTS goodies will be hitting the shop tomorrow ....including this Dalilah Dolman in black ! Set those alarms for 6pm....there might even be a discount code for the first few orders 😘
It was tempting to stay inside the nice warm house, but we bundled up, I pushed the double stroller up the big hill to Mundy Park (when did my kids get soooo heavy) and we walked and played in the snow and sunshine. It was SO WORTH IT!
Potty training is HARD...amiright? Anyone else keep a potty in their trunk? ✋🏼🙌🏼 @pottypause has been an awesome tool to help Charlotte conceptualize that we can pause playing to use the potty whether we are on an adventure or playing at home. It’s super visual and lights up so it’s fun for her to use and actually a motivation to stop playing! Swipe right to see close ups of this fun potty tool! #sponsored#pottytraining
Yesterday refreshed my soul. The babies & I drove down the island as far as we could go, and then walked the rest of the way to where the ocean meets the intracoastal. We spent a few hours in the sun - walking slow enough to admire crabs, seashells and jellyfish. These babies thrive on days like this, and so do I. I predict a lot of unplugged, uninhabited beach days in our future. 🌴
"Waggis throwing spaghetti (confetti) - whoosh - now whole house dirty dirty. Need cleaning mami!" - that post-carnival life. Suffice to say we'll be ignoring all such responsibilities and catching up on our napping game today. Also, I have a picture of me and J in this spot when I was still pregnant with A and I just love all this kind of stuff 💔
The best dad around right here! 😍 Up and down, up and down 🛷 They couldn’t get enough, and he just kept goin’. With this years weather this might be the last time we see it. ❄️ #dontstoptillyagetenough
Jack and Bobby have been spending their father/son time at the bike park in Moab during this trip. This park has something for every bike rider no matter their experience level. Jack didn’t want to leave even after riding for hours. We don’t have anything like this near our house at home so we just might have to build a little track in our back yard!
Forward progress can be hard. Whether we’re out for a “quick” one mile walk, or working toward a project goal, sometimes we just get stuck! On this particular hike, Georgia was motivated by “cleaning up” the trail. We would find spots that needed sweeping, and she’d come blazing along with her stick or branch to brush dirt, debris or fallen objects away. You just never know what will keep kids moving, so I guess we’re resolving to be ready for anything. Also, a good reminder that we do have a “bag of tricks” so to speak—there are so many tools to help get us unstuck. *Feel free to share your favorite (or just that random thing that helped that one day 😉) !*
The best moments come and go, unplanned and often unnoticed... a rare glimpse into the briefest of moments this morning when the whole crew at this play date were drawn like magnets to a simple book about trees! ♥️🌿
All the little things that toddlers are impressed by brings me back to reality. There is so many moments and things that doesn't impress us anymore as adults... going for a nature walk with children makes you stop and notice those small Things that you wouldn't notice if it wasn't of them. On our walk out at the estuary Jackson noticed the ducks flying above our heads and pointed at them "Quack, Quack, mama look there's ducks flying high in the sky" my heart melts every time when he says things like that. He already is such a nature and animal lover and it makes me such a proud mom. I guess we are doing something right as parents and raising a child that will care and nurture the outdoors. @jdenistremblay #thelittleexplorerssquamish#quackquack#naturelover#squamishadventure
Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
This family needs help buying their photos. It's not that they can't afford them....it would just be super stressful for them to buy them all right now, today! ⠀
Full disclosure. This is my family! And we didn't have to buy this photo - because I took it. BUT, if we were going to invest in professional photography this year, it would be way easier for us to spend a few thousand dollars if we were able to break it up over the course of a few months.⠀
I offered my clients a payment plan for years...but it had been a while since I reviewed it and asked myself....could I make it EASIER for my clients to buy?⠀
Listen to this weeks episode of Photogreneur, where I answer a members question: ⠀
"How to you handle payment plans in your business?"⠀

This week's guest post in our "Exploring Abroad" series is by Caitlyn Oates, an educator and traveling mommy extraordinaire, and she is sharing her latest adventure full of hiking in Croatia and Slovenia with her adorable 22-month old. Check out the blog (link in bio) for beautiful photos of Plitvice Lakes, Croatia, and Lake Bled in Slovenia! "You have to parent no matter where you are, so well you might as well parent in Slovenia and Croatia!" What a great way to look at travel as a parent! Just do it!
