No better day like a Thursday to shift some of our thoughts, to re-calibrate, to press ‘re-set’. As mums we almost always carry more than our share of the mental load, whether we’re working a day job and also juggling things at home, are full-time mothers, or juggling a start-up or side hustle. So what are five small things we can do, for free, today, to affect change? 1) Stop trying to please everyone 2) Embrace change, instead of fearing it 3) Live in the present, not the past 4) Stop putting yourself down 5) Less over thinking, more doing. Give yourself permission.
Just a girl and a post-rainy night.
In this modern world, what can be better than take a walk at night safely to somewhere I belong?
Long long ago, Khalifa Umar ibn Khaththab worried about his responsibility being a Khalifa. He couldn't imagine what will Allah ask if there was an animal fell down because he couldn't make sure that the road was good enough for it.
Like, it was just an animal. Of course his concern to human life was much more.
That is just how Islam rules the way we live. That happens if Islam goes back to a highest place in our lives.
Ngaji Islam sekadar penghiburan. Merasa riba negara bukan masalah individu.
Mau sampai kapan kita melawan fitrah kita sebagai muslim?
The bali rain gods have opened the heavens which allows comfort and stillness to emulate.
After chatting to a beautiful soul, the last two days have initiated a shift to slow down, enjoy the steps, move fluidly inwards without agenda or question.
Without rush, means less chaos physically and an opportunity to rid the chaos mentally.
Without trying to find out why, instead we open the awareness for sounds, ideas and gratitude to flood in.
I am grateful.
Having a casual morning coffee.
A swich of perspective can change your entire day and turn bad into good.
It was the day of a big storm in the rainforest of Australia. Instead of sitting at home, being offended and complain about the weather, we made an adventure out of it. We literally jumped into the rain, into the mud and into our beautiful nature, which looks even greener when it gets a lot of water.
This is a reminder that we never see things how they are, we see the world how we are. Let's stop to consider us as victims of certain situations, let's consider us as creators. Bad situations are just bad because we evaluate it as bad. Let's change the perspective and recognize the positive side of the story. Because everything has always 2 sides.
Remember Ying and Yang.
We had a beautiful, happy and adventurous day in the rain! 💚
