When you start to feel overwhelmed by the noise of the world, overwhelmed by the suffering and sadness. By the shaky hands. By the voices of so many others. You must turn inward. Remember you must protect your light. You cannot do it all, you cannot take on the suffering of the world. Everyone is on their own journey, their own path... take a breath. Choose to see the light. You don’t have to bear the burden of so many others, even if your heart feels like it needs to. It is both a blessing and a curse to feel everything so deeply.
Who has been to the Hoover Dam? 🙋🏼♀️ holy this place was interesting and bizarre and incredible all at once. SO MANY PEOPLE. We rolled around the corner and it looked like the lost city of Atlantis. People and cameras and selfie sticks and giant walls and water and everywhere I turned I was like “what!” How did they build this?! How was the water level so high before, how can I get down to that little cave? I could blame it on the engineer in me but really it’s the curiosity in me - the curiosity that has driven so many of the decisions I’ve made and the paths I’ve explored. Cheers to exploring this world we live in with the people we love ❤️
