Fresh week ~ Monday vibes •
The last two weeks I've had a cold that has been going around. Fever, congestion, runny nose, sneezing, aching and extreme exhaustion. I could hardly keep myself awake and couldn't fathom working out. I usually don't get sick for this long. One thing I always do though is go to the gym too early and put a lot of unnecessary stress on my body before it's completely healed. Therefore setting back my recovery time and prolonging the sickness. It's important to give yourself atiquite recovery time. Not only is it important for your health but also for everyone who may go to your gym. You don't want to spread your germs around the gym and cause who knows how many people to get sick from it.
Aside from all the sick talk.. I was grateful to get over 3 miles of running and an hour of weights in today after a long two weeks of resting. Of course my overall performance wasn't tip top but that's expected after time off. Happy motivation Monday everyone!!
So I did Beast up legs this morning. I wasn’t as impressed with the weights but the post workout numbers. Oh wow! I’ll take those!
I basically had my rest day yesterday so I figured I would do my workout tomorrow. Doing my workout for tomorrow after work so I can make sure I have plenty of time. I still suck at getting out of bed 5 am but I’m miles and miles ahead of where I used to be previously.
Had a shitty day yesterday, I was under the weather, and I’ve kinda been in funk due to normal life shit 🙄😑🤷🏼♀️ Tonight, tonight I pushed myself f••king hard!! I’m so damn proud of MYSELF!! I lifted heavier, did more reps, and maxed myself out in time! I burned over 1200 calories and drenched myself in sweat! I was sparkling like a damn magical unicorn 🦄✨🌈 My strength is at its highest it’s EVER been 💪🏼👊🏼 All thanks to diving head 1st into the unknown and taking a risk with changing my nutrition. I’ve recently upped ⬆️⬆️ my calorie intake😱 I know it’s something women think is taboo🙅🏼♀️ BUT it’s not, I’ve gained 12lbs in pure MUSCLE!! I have lost even more in inches and I’m just scratching the surface! I’m gaining dat booty 🍑 and gaining all those curves in the all the right places ⏳😉 Get you some boo 💁🏼♀️😎😘

It’s Spring Break so I can take a break, right?!?! I could. You could. We all have a choice. Every.single.day.
It’s up to us to make sure that our choices align with our goals. And my goals say there’s no time for breaks.

• connecting with women ready to start their journey
• prepping veggies • practicing self care 🛀🏽 • and reading some personal development
