Airing allllll my mom-guilt here tonight: That little guy on the right...I’ve been super hard on him these last few weeks because he hasn’t been living up to the expectation I created in my head about how independent he should be at 3. I’ve snapped at him when he clenches my hand in social situations and won’t let go, and rolled my eyes when he wants me to play with him AND his friends. And I’ve been playing the blame game and gotten mad at myself for staying home with him instead of sending him to daycare. But last night at just the right moment, my friend posted an article that spoke right to me. In an age where girls are applauded for being “fierce” boys need to know that it’s OK to be sensitive and sweet, and I hope I can preserve every ounce of it in Little Leo Man and remember that a few extra tears now doesn’t mean he is going to grow up and ask me to the prom (but if he does, I’ll say yes). So cheers to all the mamas out there who are teaching their boys that it’s OK to wear their heart on their sleeves♥️ May sweet boys and fierce girls save the world.
Today, while I decided to read & relax a little, Nico & Noah jumped and socialized their energy out! 🙌🏼💪🏼😛
As I read and peaked to check up on them, noticed they were taking time to help other kids learn how to front & back flip! It felt good knowing again, I have no need to worry about them socializing, showing kindness and helping other kids! ❤️
Another moment to continue my trust in this parenting journey I decided to take! Continue trusting that even though it’s a lot of work and dedication to homeschool and unschool a child, it can work! It can so definitely work! 💪🏼

Choose your hard! I love this quote! 💜💜💜
Anything that is of real value takes hard work, grit and determination.
In life we often place too little value on things that come easily to us and tend to take them for granted. We take for granted simple tasks like turning on a tap to get fresh water. Starting the ignition in a car to get you from A to B. Flicking a switch to access power.
Yet, things that are hard we place very high value on. We value sport athletes, musicians, inventors and celebrities. Gaining an higher education or rag to riches stories.
So if we know things we value and respect take work and sacrifice, why are we afraid of "hard work"
It's nothing new that success does take hard work. But do you know what else is hard if not harder?? Being overweight is hard. Working out is hard! Being stuck in a dead end job is hard. Being on prescribed medication is hard. Going to the doctors regularly is hard! Working on someone elses dream is hard. Being an unideal role model to your children is hard. Feeling body shame, inside and outside is hard. Being bigger than your excuses is HARD!! So, I'm telling you, you will be faced with struggles and hard times, it's a part of life. Choose your hard that benefits you and when you do, you are able to deal with your struggles in a controlled environment. Just because something is hard, doesn't mean you shouldn't act on it or do it.
You decide what it'll be...
The hard of success? OR
The hard of failure?
Let the reading continue... 📖❤️🐴 It’s hard to find time to read now a day, so this moment right here is priceless! 😋🙌🏼
I sit here and get lost in this world I so want to learn more! So much inspiration through this great pioneer, who is still around spreading his #wisdom ! 🙏🏼
What a good feeling to find out why I have such love, connection and drive to want to be around horses... we feel each other... especially sharing our world of #vulnerability ! 🙏🏼
Amazes me to find out “horses are flight animals who feel vulnerability 24 hours a day!” – #montyroberts
As you can read on second picture, that even the most ranch men realized through the years of working and as known “breaking a horse”, #tenderness and trust brings about more cooperation and harmony between horse & rider! It all goes back to #love ! 💞
Amazing all we can also learn through horses!
The smile on my face doesn't mean my life is perfect. It means I appreciate the life experiences I have gone through, the support and important people in my life and what Allah blessed me with in becoming a changed, wiser and more positive man that I am today. I am truly happy where I am in my life now and appreciate the progress, growth and continued success and strides I have made through my dark times and now. You too will make it through the trying times, because like me, you too will never quit. Embrace your real friends. They’re dedicated in staying in your corner uplifting you to become a better you (you guys fucking rock and you know who you guys are). And of course my smile. No matter how hard it was for me in those times, I maintained my smile because when you have nothing left and you’ve hit rock bottom, I’ve learned even just a smile can jump start your emotional, physical, and mental state when you feel everything is closing in on you. It WILL get better, I can promise you that. try it...Just smile⚓️ #smile
My best friend, my partner, my love 💗 you mean so much to me and I’m so lucky to have you by my side for these last three years. I can’t wait to share more birthdays together, celebrate more holidays, and be in the weirdest situations with no one else but you. I love you to the moon and beyond 🌙💖
With all the germs and craziness going around, it’s the understatement of the year to say we ❤️ our Thieves!!! Immune support powerhouse right here 👊🏼 smells like a fall wonderland too! Be consistent in using your oils and you’ll see the difference!
#tbt to a happy moment in Sorrento back in 2016. I can't help but think of everything that has changed since this photo was taken. This was a different kind of happiness, and now I have someone special to share these moments with. I'll leave a link to the blog post where I wrote about happiness in the bio 🌿 katiecharlotteblogs.co.uk
Baby girl your so pretty
Watcha gon do wit your life
You can't be a fuck up for long
You better get you a 9-5
Issa shame Issa shame
How you waste your time
On these pipe dreams
Well fuck your 9-5
I don't want that shit
Your life drives me crazy
That suburban home full of shit
I don't want a mini van
You can keep your insecure man
I'd rather be
Find my divinity
A life fit for a queen 📸 @matthiaskhan
