For a very short couple of minutes the sky was lit up bright pink this morning & I couldn’t help but pull over to get a snapshot with my iPhone.
Sunrise/sunset shots never turn out the way they actually look it seems. But still...I always try & to my surprise, this actually turned out this morning.
I’m a “sign” gal. I believe Jesus leaves signs for us when we need them whether we ask for them or when we unknowingly need them. In subtle forms, whether it be a song at just the right time or reading a phrase written near...they’re always a pleasant surprise. Comforting...
Lately I’ve been working towards a personal long term goal & sometimes I think “I need a sign that I’m still heading in the right direction” & if this isn’t a sign from above...literally, I don’t know what is. I’ve never seen anything like it.

Wrapping horizontal butt-joint wood is a great way to make a main level foyer cozy. Wood is purposefully gapped unevenly, with dry wall painted black behind so the appearance is uneven. The anomalies give off that cottagy, casual feel.
