Let's start 2018 with a bang and the #yamazaki #mizunara18 Tasting Notes..
Color: dark tangerine
Nose: Sweet toffee, cinnamon, citrus, pears, Green apples, floral perfume
Pallette: More pear, apricot, honey, ginger, almonds, viscous
Finish: Long, sweet then spicy, hint of bitter almonds in the very end.
Closer in flavor profile to the #yamazaki12 rather than the #yamazaki18 which I prefer. But the flavors are lingering and the mouth feel is much stronger. And the nose is my favorite part which hints to a different orchard fruit every time you go in for a whiff.
