This charming little village in the county of Gloucestershire will make you feel like you've stepped back into the seventeenth century.
Not so long ago, Sheepscombe was mainly a rural village, seemingly untouched by time and progress. Lately though, it has transformed into a trendy and select place to live and visit - like many of the Cotswold villages.
Situated at the bottom of a steep valley, this little gem is inaccessible for those without a car. Would you be brave enough to try driving on the "wrong" side of the road? 😛
✧ If you can’t stop thinking about it, then don’t stop working for it. 🙌🏼
I feel like all I’ve been doing lately is waking up, get my child ready, go to work, go home, die in bed, and repeat. I keep thinking, “wouldn’t it be lovely if I can simply not work so much?” Unfortunately for me, I’ve got an expensive hobby called traveling and it certainly does not pay for itself. Neither does student loan repayment 😳😑 So while I’m daydreaming of my time back in places like Norway, I’ll work towards my next trip because that mantra of “work hard, play harder” rings so true 🧡

The Registan was the heart of the ancient city of Samarkand of the Timurid dynasty, now in Uzbekistan. The name Rēgistan means "Sandy place" or "desert" in Persian.🐫🐪🐪
The Registan was a public square, where people gathered to hear royal proclamations, heralded by blasts on enormous copper pipes called dzharchis - and a place of public executions. It is framed by three madrasahs of distinctive Islamic architecture.⠀
