Here we go again. Stacy started complaining her tummy hurt Friday night, didn’t sleep much Friday night, slept a bit yesterday, then last night she complained her tummy hurt again, she threw up a couple of times this morning, rested the most of the day, and now she’s upset again, saying her tummy hurts. Told her we’d go to the doctor tomorrow and she asked if we could go today. Are kiddos always sick like this?? #poorbaby
Tonight we’ve had a particularly cranky night with a double whammy - little Mila is entering leap 3 at 13 weeks old, and also is suffering the effects of her vaccinations on Friday ☹️
I’ve just settled her down for what I hope will be her first stretch of sleep for tonight, which means it’s now time for this tired mama to curl up in bed with a book and a trusty G&T ♥️
We’ve had a pretty rubbish Sunday! 😞 Archie became really unwell this morning with haemorrhagic diarrhoea and vomiting. I took him straight to work for X-rays and bloods which diagnosed him with pancreatitis. He’s at home now, on a high rate of intravenous fluids, analgesia, gastrointestinal protectants and antiemetics and is definitely feeling a little better. He’s managed some low fat GI food and has had a potter around. Massive thank you to our vet Erika for keeping me calm today and being amazing with him. It’s so strange how all your medical knowledge and skills go out the window when it’s your own baby. Here’s hoping for a comfortable night and a better day tomorrow. Please send lots of love and positive thoughts his way. He’s been such a brave little bear. The bottom right photo is him absolutely off his face on buprenorphine with his tongue hanging out, which did make me giggle! ❤️🐶🤞🏻#lurcher#getbettersoon#poorbaby#pancreatitis#notasundayfunday
Had to take the little guy to the emergency room early this morning. Poor Bubba had a painful bladder blockage but after his procedure he is feeling better now just a few days of observation and tests.
