Here's a solid TB that popped up today. This was one of my many looks working on Pompeii. It was a crazy three months of filming. We laughed, cried, sweat (a lot), got lit on fire, almost broke a few bones but survived. (Not in the movie. I died at least three times in it) 😂🎬
🔸 🔹 🔸 🔹 🔸 🔹 🔸 🔹 🔸 🔹 🔸 🔹 🔸 🔹 🔸 🔹 🇬🇧 The House of Menander, Pompeii.
The Menander's house is a large urban domus of ancient Pompeii with an area of almost 1800 square meters. It was built in the 3rd century BC and perhaps belonged to the Poppaei, the gens related to Poppea Sabina, the second wife of Nero. The name of the House derives from a portrait depicting the Greek playwright Menander, placed at the bottom of the peristyle wall. The building has a thermal structure inside. On the floor of the calidarium (the enviroment with hot water) there is a large mosaic depicting fish, dolphins, a crab and two male figures; one of them stabs a sea monster with the trident.

When I entered my 30’s, something unexpected came over me. For the first time ever, I had a desire to be a father. It was almost as if my 20’s were about exploring the world and now was the time to embark on something greater than myself.
Whilst it’s nice to contemplate and envision about the future. I also realise that something as significant as starting a family isn’t a task to be taken lightly. It’s both a major responsibility, as well as a commitment, which also requires being in the right time and place, with the right person.
Perhaps even my caring fatherly instinct may stop me from having children. After all, we know the world is already overpopulated and that resources like oil, quality food and water aren’t fully guaranteed in the years to come. Thinking not just about myself but about someone else’s future may actually be the wisest thing to do.
Whatever happens, I know I will let nature take its course. If it happens great but if it doesn’t, that’s okay too. The universe will have the final say. At the end of the day, there are countless ways in which someone on Earth can leave their legacy behind... and having children is just one of them.
