It finally happened to me. The moment where I almost allowed an algorithm and a secret person hidden behind a catchy name decide whether I shared a picture or not. I love creating moments and sometimes little accidents happen like this where for a second, it didn’t feel like I was even there. These in between shots are some of my favorite images. I love the movement in her hair and I love the way their hands are gripped. This brings me back to a memory and that’s all I want to create. I’m still going to tag and hashtag this thing to death BUT that’s because you gotta play the game. If I want my people to find me, I’ve gotta get this thing seen so if you’re out there and moments mean more than likes and shares-hit your girl up and let’s go make some make magic together.
What actually happens during a wedding ceremony? Good question! Check out our bonus blog post this week for a sample ceremony and all of the elements that go into a ceremony. Click the link in our bio to read the blog post!
What a fun elopement! Chibuzo and Teslim met in high school and had four friends meet them here for a beautiful slush/rain/snow free ceremony. To top it off a very wonderful guy stopped giving them a parking ticket when I mentioned they forgot to pay because they were about to get married! 📷 @ericamillerphotography
Traveling back from the tropical Kauai paradise to the Montana snow today.. womp womp. 😭 But so very excited to continue rolling with the pop up wedding plans for our winning couple!
Another big congratulations to Lauren and Jake- I cannot wait to see how this Impromptu wedding comes together and am already loving the customization and personality you are bringing to your big day.
If you are interested in a pop up wedding to avoid all the stress and long planning timelines, keep your eyes peeled for what’s to come this spring! You can always DM me for more info, too. 😘
A beautiful woman, inside and out. Loved getting @katrinnalouise ready for her #vintagestyle gala with a textured #updo and #victoryrolls paired with a #1920s inspired eye makeup. Photo by @imjamieedgar .

“it isn't easy being an organism. in the whole universe, as far as we yet know, there is only one place, an inconspicuous outpost of the milky way called earth, that will sustain you, and even it can be pretty grudging.
from the bottom of the deepest ocean trench to the top of the highest mountain, the zone that covers nearly the whole of known life, is only something over a dozen miles — not much when set against the roominess of the cosmos at large.
yet when you consider conditions elsewhere in the known universe, the wonder is not that we use so little of our planet but that we have managed to find a planet that we can use even a bit of. you have only to look at our own solar system — or, come to that, earth at certain periods in its own history — to appreciate that most places are much harsher and much less amenable to life than our mild, blue watery globe.
whatever prompted life to begin, it happened just once. that is the most extraordinary fact in biology, perhaps the most extraordinary fact we know. everything that has ever lived, plant or animal, dates its beginnings from the same primordial twitch. at some point in an unimaginably distant past some little bag of chemicals fidgeted to life.
if your two parents hadn't bonded just when they did — possibly to the second, possibly to the nanosecond — you wouldn't be here. and if their parents hadn't bonded in a precisely timely manner, you wouldn't be here either. and if their parents hadn't done likewise, and their parents before them, and so on, obviously and indefinitely, you wouldn't be here.
to attain any kind of life in this universe of ours appears to be quite an achievement. as humans we are doubly lucky, of course: we enjoy not only the privilege of existence but also the singular ability to appreciate it and even, in a multitude of ways, to make it better. it is a talent we have only barely begun to grasp.” — a short history of nearly everything — bill bryson
So I’m currently in Yosemite, attending a workshop focused on my true passion- Adventure weddings and elopements. If you know me, you already know I love a good adventure. I mean, I’m training to climb Mount Rainier for crying out loud! Being surrounded by so many like-minded people at this workshop is not only inspiring, but reinstates my gut feeling that this is what I’m supposed to do.
A HUGE thanks to Jason & Hannah for coming out yesterday and volunteering as our adventure couple 🖤
It’s takeover today with @henrysdiary and I’m featuring @shelouised . This girl is not only an amazing nurse but also a boss babe photographer. She taught me how to shoot and let me second shoot for her. I’ve learned so much from her. Thanks Shelby #PNWedding
It’s weird when you travel by yourself. You have no one to talk to or help you decide where to eat or explore with. Tayler and l go everywhere together I can’t imagine having to work alone now that we have been shooting together these past few years. Who else works with their spouse?
