I forget sometimes how lucky I am that Marquam Nature Park is my backyard and that I have access to so many hiking trails! I spent the morning walking around my playground up to Council Crest and the surrounding neighborhoods by using the interconnected SW trail system. Even on weekends when I don’t have as much time to take a day trip to the mountains, gorge, or coast, there is ALWAYS time to go hiking! Thanks @nickball86 for being my hiking buddy 🌲
Hike 9/52 - Marquam Nature Park
The 🌞 is OUT! And because the PNW is in my blood - I put on a tank top even though its only 51*. 😣😂 We are taking the afternoon to work on our shed. When you have 4 small kids, projects take 54328x as long as they reasonably should. But the kids can get filthy in the dirt and that makes them happy so it's still a win. °°° #athomefitness#momfitness#momlife#pnwisbest#northwestisbest#pnw#homemaker
Everyday I get closer and closer to driving into these mountains and not returning for some time. The complex ways of society don’t really make a ton of sense to me, “share if you agree”, and corrupt politics constantly overwhelmingly my head every time I pick up my phone. Even when I get on Instagram I’m thrown by trends and pop culture. This isn’t what I’m chiseled out for. I don’t need all these modern amenities. When I look at Native Americans before the colonization, I see the raw untouched human life that dwells in all of us but only few will stick by. I found some 9 acres of land here in Bondurant Wyoming for $43,000 and it doesn’t feel that far away.
