We know this looks weird. Who smells their French Onion soup?! 🍲 The entire editorial team at @alisterpaine is trained in Food & Wine Journalism in a custom program with 15x @beardfoundation award winner Alan Richman at the ICC (the French Culinary Institute). Trust us, don’t rush in to eating great food. Smell it. Savor it. There’s so much more to enjoy! 😊
Confession: I've had coffee every morning since last week. I used it as a crutch starting my new job, because waking up earlier has been an adjustment. Although the work days have gone well, I'm drained. My days are only going to get longer w/ finals next week. So for those that are inspired by the whole full-time work/ full-time student life= let me be brutally honest. There are BAD days, lonely nights, & sometimes you wish you could fly away.
---This is why it is important to take nights to detox, to relax, or simply to let the emotions flow. Yesterday, I was an emotional wreck, today I'm resting w/ a motivational book. But tomorrow, I'm going to get shit done.
I’m just gonna tell it like it is.
Working out with little ones is HARD.
Having the time is hard.
Having the energy is hard.
Having the patience is hard.
Having enough snacks to keep them busy is hard.
But I’d choose THIS hard over looking in the mirror and not liking who I see...over feeling totally uncomfortable in my own skin...over being utterly exhausted because I wasn’t making MY health a priority.
THAT kind of HARD was my reality just a few years ago...until I stumbled upon these “crazy home workout programs”...that ALSO came with just the right support & accountability my mom life needed.
3 years later, I’m still here, still pressing play with my babies, still working every day on becoming a better version of myself...for THEM.
It won’t always be easy, friend.
But the MORE consistent you are, the better it gets!! Find your why and let those little ones be the momentum that keeps you going, even on your toughest days❤️. Choose YOUR hard. •
