Have you ever noticed those homes with “For Sale By Owner” signs? Maybe you’ve thought about selling your own home without an agent as well. While selling without the help of a real estate professional may, at first, sound like a great, money-saving idea, we want to caution you before making that leap.
Today we're discussing a few things all homeowners should know before deciding to sell by owner on the blog. Check it out via the link in our profile!
I sometimes like to ask my friends at church to finish this sentence: “God is …” They usually answer with God is “love”, “mighty”, “powerful”, “holy” etc. All of these are biblical and true, but they’re also intangible and abstract. Let me explain what I mean. If I told you to take a photograph of “love” … what would you shoot? I guess you could show me photos of your wedding or your family, but you'd have to explain how that photo represents the concept that God is “love”. Or what photo would you take to show me that God is “mighty”? Maybe you could shoot a huge storm cloud or the Grand Canyon … but again, you'd have to explain how it represented God being mighty.
But if we asked a Jewish believer to finish the same sentence, they would answer that God is … “my rock”, “my shield”, “my bread”, “my shepherd”, “my fortress”, “my shade”. All of these are biblical ... and they're all tangible things we can hold, smell, touch, experience and even photograph.
Seeing God in tangible ways like this will remind you of His presence whenever you eat bread, sit in the shade of a tree or look at mountainous rocks like this one at the Garden of the Gods in Colorado. Our God is not abstract! I believe He is a tangible source of peace, comfort and help for you today!
My God is my rock, in whom I take refuge — Psalm 18:2
My heart is full. My mind is refreshed. My soul is at peace. But my body may be a little sore after all of the adventures @hannahhm11 took me on this week. Thank you for such a joy-filled week. Being in your space always makes me better. Love you, Han!
God is so wonderful. He created so many amazing things in this world. Pikes Peak is just one fo them. Life is like a mountain. You are at the bottom right? You go through all the things you could possibly go through and then and the end of your journey. You see this wonderful sight you have been waiting your whole life for. It was so awesome to have a God that can do this❤️ #livefearless#pikespeak
If you would of told me when I was 20 that my life would be where it is now, I never would of believed you. It took a lot of work and a lot of learning and it’s true that with age does come wisdom. I cringe when I think about how confident I was about the world when I was 20. I thought I had it all figured out, and man was I wrong. I am grateful for life experiences getting me to where I am today. There were up’s and there were definitely downs. I’m also grateful I’m alive to tell about it. I did a lot of stupid shit. I’m not proud of who I used to be, but I’m pretty dang proud of who I am today.
My hunny was a little nervous driving up Pikes Peak lol. The view was incredible! We only went up 16 miles out of the 19 due to snow at the top but it was worth it. We had so much fun! @gabe.gamez.gg #PikesPeak#ScaryDrive#Adventure#Husband
