Work flow - Off to the “saw” to cut off the excess material. I guess you have to work with what you have. I wish I could say I’m cranking handles, but I’m not. The #kearneyandtrecker is doing it all for me. #almostlikecnc
I always hear people say that slow play is killing the game. Well then that’s up to us as golf professionals to fix it. Keeping pace by time is likely the best thing I did at my club and I can’t imagine doing it any other way. I even created a pace of play sheet for you that can be customized for your starting times and pace of play by hole. The sheet will then quickly tell you where each group should be in the course down to the minute. The video link in my bio is the tutorial and best practices video in the pace sheet and the pace sheet can be downloaded for free on my website www.pgajay.com. I don’t even ask for your email in order to download it. Just take it and do good with it. And of course message me I you have question on it. #pgajay
When your wifey calls asking why a semi is parked outside of our house. Thanks for the neighborhood delivery @alrosteel! They delivered twenty four pieces of good ol American made 304 stainless. I wouldn’t have it any other way. ;
I just leveled up in terms of my neighbor’s love for me. I can’t imagine how difficult of a time the driver had backing his way out of my court, which intersects perpendicularly with another court.
I’m Glad to have the screen recording portion of the pace of play sheet tutorial done. One take by the way. I’m either getting better or I’ve just lowered my expectations. 😂
Either way the tutorial video on managing pace of play by time should be up tomorrow. And it’s good. I think this will really make a difference in the way people run their pace of play operation.
Trying to do the pace of play sheet tutorial video in one piece was too hard to wrap my head around. Breaking it up into the tutorial on how to customize my pace sheet for your club and then another episode on examples and putting it into practice is going to be easier for me. Stay tuned for part one in the next couple days.
I’ve been machining various things for 14 years now. I am still amazed that you can start with a raw piece of material and with the correct strategy, tooling and machine, you can end up with something far from it’s original form. I love machining, I just wish it wasn’t so damn expensive. 😎
