Back to the beginning! In one fair swoop, I was able to meet the legendary Jesus of Group 49, see my original host family, and celebrate Sasha's 18th birthday! Great to see everyone doing well a year later!

She said words that I didn’t quite understand. “The power of touch,” she said. “Touch can help to heal the body and warm the heart. When you open your arms, you open your heart. And he is my warmth. “
They smiled at each other.
A year ago I was strolling through the streets of chernivtsi with my #borscht corps boys reunited (minus @gabetez) after our first month at site. I can’t describe how bittersweet it was to come across this photo today. I miss you boys so much and my entire Peace Corps Ukraine family.
