If regular treadmill and bike workouts have been your norm for@awhile I challenge you to get a backpack, load it full of ‘essentials’ (my essential was a 10lb weight and a water bottle), put the mill on a steep incline and go to town. Your body moves differently in the outdoors with the essentials than it does in the gym, change t up!!!! #fitness#weightloss#outdoorlover#fitnessjourney
Saturday Self Care Brought to you by Present Over Perfect: I posted this in my wellness group yesterday and so many moms related so thought you might too:) "I've been so committed to proving to everyone (as though anyone cares) that I can handle it all. And I've handled a whole lot of things.....I've done so many things. And I'm so tired. I miss my friends. I sleep terribly. I snap at my kids more than I want to and then I lie in bed and feel guilty about it..I spend more time talking to my husband about helping around the house then i do asking him about his dreams and ideas.
Who wins? I handled it all. I showed them! But who is them? And who cares? What am I trying to prove?
There will be more time later...right? Not if unless something changes. "
Do you relate to this? I did and I still do and am trying really hard to change it. I want it to change so that I have time for the things that are important like taking care of me, like spending unplugged time with my family every night even if the dishes wait until later, and spending some time with my husband to talk about his dreams and ideas not just ask him to take out the trash... What ways are you trying to be MORE PRESENT?
Whenever a NEGATIVE EMOTION comes out of nowhere and rushes around your mind or body 🙇
It can be CHANGED in to a POSITIVE EMOTION 🌟
Starting with CHANGING your THOUGHTS 💭
Divert your attention away from the negativity by looking in a different direction until you find something that makes you smile 🙂
Then focus on the new, positive emotions about what you’re seeing, thinking, and experiencing ✌️
It’s not enough to just think about something good…carry it through until you feel the positive emotions that back it up 🙏
It’s not typically the negative thought itself that brings you down, rather, it’s the negative emotion you feel as a result 👌

Pushed play and got my workout done for the day💪🏻 There are some workouts that I blow through, like just absolutely CRUSH.
Then there are workouts like today's that I barely make it through alive😝
It was a tough one for this momma but I'm glad I finished because now I have that endorphin high🤗
My husband being in there playing with the kids while I knocked it out helped out too.
He mad me feel extra good about out myself ☺️ and was a huge reason that I kept going!
Even on those hard days, it's always worth pushing through. Always. Try to remember that the next time you're wanting to quit!
