The Fine Touch Painting Philosophy💡
Never cut corners when it comes to service. Never sacrifice quality when it comes to the finish. Serve every family and home as if it were you're own, and always give back to the communities you serve and live in.
Mural on the exterior wall of Il Vagabondo Restaurant, 186 Barrette St, #Vanier , depicts the first elected officials of Vanier situated on/around an Ottawa Electric Railway Company street car circa 1909. According to online sources, the Ottawa Electric Railway Company operated a public transit system of electric railway streetcars in Ottawa between 1891 and 1959. Ottawa once had tracks through downtown on Rideau Street, Sparks Street and others. By 1958, financial problems led to the fleet of 96 aging streetcars being replaced with diesel buses. The last electric streetcar ran on May 1, 1959 when the Britannia line was closed. Now, almost 60 years later, the cycle will reverse itself with the #OCTranspo O-Train Confederation Line expansion. Due to be completed in 2018, the Confederation line expansion will once again bring light rail transit service back to downtown #Ottawa . #streetart#mural#ottawaeast#beechwood#publictransit
My Grandfather, Peter Sinclair, had a grocery store and meat market in Ottawa East from the 30’s to the early 70’s. Some of my earliest memories were of watching him work. This is a part of one his calendars, (I’m not sure what year because that part is gone, probably the early 40’s). The problem with framing an object is the fact that it’s almost impossible to get a good picture without the reflexion of the glass. #familyhistory#ottawaeast#oldcalendar#familybusiness#butchershop#vintagepromo
The purpose of this post goes out to thank each and every one of you who's been showing me love and giving me feedback on my pictures over the past year.
What started of as just getting a camera for a birthday present from the famjam, and having it lying around as a gadget in the “failed hall of fame hobby” cabinet, has now been successfully developed into a passion.
The best part of this adventure was probably the recognition I got from my dad who thought I was getting photos from Google.
I also personally want to give a huge shout out to the amigos who pushed me to open up an IG account in the first place. Thank you guys, I owe you some free photoshoots for real (terms & conditions apply). Y’all better make me THE official photographer for all the main events coming in your lives.
To the IG community reading this, underground celebrities, prime ministers, presidents (whadup Trump), underground artists, IG users who don’t want to comment back when I downvote for Nutella, (we cool..we can still be friends) you all can DM me for free picture sessions. I don’t care if it’s for yourself, your grandma, dogs, cats, dragons, favourite places, important events or trips. Much love, I have works that I’ve done over the past few weeks and I’ve been aching to release them soon. Everything's on the way! 🙏🏽
