Very excited to share my first zine!! It’s A6 in size, 8 pages long and filled with little watercolour paintings of nice dogs that I’ve spotted in my neighbourhood 🐶 Perfect for people who can’t walk past a dog without patting it... 😂
‘Study for A Subtlety’
From May 10 to July 6, 2014, Creative Time presented the first large-scale public project by #KaraWalker , one of the most important artists of our era. Sited in the sprawling industrial relics of Brooklyn's legendary, soon-to-be-demolished Domino Sugar Factory, Walker's physically and conceptually expansive installation—a massive, sugar-coated sphinx-like woman—responded to the building and its history.
I broke my ankle on Christmas Day and have been in a boot since. I am weaning off crutches and ventured upstairs today, where I was greeted by my beautiful art supplies. After almost 8 weeks without paint, it was only natural that I’d dive back in today. It felt like waking up. Yeah it’s a little wavy and I probably should have gone downstairs and grabbed my 140 lb paper but I had already started my favorite Kid Cudi album and you know the rest. 😉 | I’m Feeling Alright, watercolor on 98 lb paper
