20 meals for $105!! Goal was to create 18-20 healthy and delicious meals with $100.. so was pretty darn close. I’m constantly hungry and always spending money on food.. so by doing this I’ll have meals on hand and will also save some dosh💰. These meals are for after workouts/runs and lunches (2 a day) so that’s me sussed for the next 10 days.
All up I made:
5 butter chickens
4 mince lasagnas with zucchini layers
3 spaghetti bolognese with zoodles
4 roasted salmon and kumara mash
4 broccoli and cauliflower rice (2 with chicken and 2 with salmon)
1 litre organic coconut milk (I probably used 700ml)
1 large cauliflower
1 large broccoli (use the stalks too)
2 bags spinach
2 jars organic tomatoes
1 whole garlic
5 large zucchinis
4 orange kumara
2 large salmon steaks (look out for specials!)
8 free range chicken drum sticks
1 packet of premium mince
1 small packet of slice almonds
1 small packet of cashews
Garam Masala (herbs)
At home I already had:
1 capsicum and 3 chillis from my garden 🌱
And there we have it, lots of healthy delish meals! Give it a crack. If you want any of the recipes. Let me know 👍🏼 The only thing I don’t like about doing this is the use of plastic.. one day I hope to have all glass containers 👍🏼 will slowly add to the collection.
Technology is your friend 💻📱Use digital tools to your advantage by diarising appointments, setting reminders and adding detail to your contacts. Most of us now have a smartphone at our fingertips and this is something we typically carry around with us 24/7. 📌If you’re out and about and urgently need your breakdown cover details, you’ll thank your lucky stars that you entered the phone number and policy reference into your contacts. 📌Manual task lists can be useful for clarifying the mind but we sometimes need a gentle nudge to do something on a particular day. 📌Online diaries can be shared with friends and family to make coordinating commitments and events so much easier. 📌So make sure you use your phone/laptop to the best of its ability - it’s one of your most powerful tools! #organised#disorganised#getorganised#iphone#macbookair#macbookpro#laptop#technology#lifeadmin#businessadmin#smallbusiness#creativeentrepreneur#organisationalcoaching#organisology
✨ T R A N S F O R M A T I O N
T U E S D A Y ✨
How are your #drawers looking?! 😳 SWIPE LEFT for “before” pic! Organising your clothes is sooo satisfying. Why bother? So many reasons but a few jump to mind:
💥you can find #clothes easily, saving time
💥you save money as you remember all the clothes you actually have to wear
💥draws (see what I did there? 😉) your attention to gaps in your wardrobe
💥makes choosing your clothes so much more inviting
TOP TIPS for clothes drawers:
✨ Fold and store clothes vertically so you can see everything
✨Use #drawerdividers (I like shoeboxes as cheap divider solutions)
✨Group like items together eg jumpers / sportswear .
Happy #decluttering !
It's important to remember that you are never stuck. You always have a choice to rewrite your own story, alter your mindset, and grow into the amazing person you aspire to be. It all starts from within. Go get it!
Good morning and happy hump day!
I started my day teaching my 6am Barre ladies 💪🏻(post lemon water 🍋)and have come home to organise my day. Lots to do with our exciting up coming event 💍!!
Organising your day and meals is a great way to stay on track.
Preparing a few snacks or meals per week can help you make good choices and perhaps prevent you from reaching for that 3pm sneaky chocolate ...🍫
Easter holidays are almost here - the 500mL and the 750mL Thermo Blue are the best to keep your drinks cool and keep the coffee and tea warm for those crisp mornings while camping ⛺️ #camping#easterholidays
A spread I made in midst of the rare, snowy days Ireland 💕 while it was beautiful and exciting it had its repercussions (we missed our holiday to Paris) and also its benefits (I uploaded a flip through to YouTube, link in bio) ❄️❄️❄️
CHILDREN’S ARTWORK STORAGE!
If you’ve got small humans at home then you’re probably drowning in a sea of artwork from your mini Picasso. The idea of throwing away these masterpieces tears at our heartstrings and can be met with ‘how dare you’ stares from the artist. .
You’ve got a few options -
1. Keep it all in an enormous storage box, or three, out of sight with hopes and dreams that one day you’ll do something with it.
2. Use it to wrap family presents; grandparent LOVE this
3. Upload it onto an app such as @artkiveapp or @keepyapp where you can share with grandparents and family in faraway places (Artkive currently have 10% off this month using the code MARCH)
I’m back after a lovely long weekend away in Cardigan Bay. We stayed in a beautiful house with all of our family. We spent the weekend eating, drinking and playing games 🙈 The kids loved it and loved being in the hot tub even in the snow 😆 I am glad to be back now and get the kids back in to their routine and I’ve already managed to unpack and wash everything!! #organised#deathbylaundry#weekendaway#monopolyruinsfamilies
Day 13: Work Clothes #marchmeetthemaker2018 Friends describe me as Quirky. I have always had my own style, my own thing going on... I know what I like and I don't want to look like everyone else, I have no desire to merge with the masses or to blend in with the crowd... I dress how I dress, it is inconsequential whether I am working or not, if I put it on and I feel great then I'm happy! Some days I will put my favourite Viv Westwood dress on and pop out to do a grocery shop, or walk the dog in my wellies, just because I can and because wearing that dress, at that time, will make me happy!...
If I'm creating, and being messy, I wear an apron with enormous pockets. My Mum made it for me at a time when I was going back to work following 6 months of cancer treatments. I was struggling with 'Chemo Brain', a fog like daze cast over everything and I had very little short term memory. I could, and did, park my car in town to go shopping and have zero recollection of where I had left it... not so funny when u r frantically walking around car parks trying desperately to spot your car... Mum made me this lovely apron with massive pockets in which I carried prompts, Lists, white board remotes, a notebook, car keys, a snack for break... everything I needed to survive my working day while I wadded through the fog of 'Chemo brain' during the following year... The Red Fox brooch was a gift from Mum purchased at an Antiques Fayre on the day after I walked out of the teaching job... I remember her wishing me happiness as she pinned it onto my lapel- he has been a constant companion since...
My shoes! A vital part of work wear since stubbing my toe against a box full of Lampshade making paraphernalia, dislocating, fracturing and incapacitating me for too many weeks. The nurse told me' You know, weakened bones are a real issue for those who've had cancer treatments' ...as I screamed like a Banshee as he wrenched my toe back into place...
Good shoes, none of your sandal nonsense, crucial workwear.....
I’ve been searching and searching for a black FF Original for ages and couldn’t find one anywhere - so I decided to paint my Nude Original 🙈 here’s the end result.
I did it over the course of a few days last week, and even though it’s not perfect, I love it! If I did it again, I’d definitely do some things a bit differently 😊
I used Angelus Leather Paint in Black, along with their leather preparer and then a gloss to seal the paint.
