At Yoast, they believe in holistic SEO: not just one aspect of a website, but all aspects are important and should, therefore, be as good as possible. They don’t approach SEO as a trick to rank higher in Google but stimulate site owners to make their site the best possible search result. All awesome websites have three things in common: they’re easy to use, contain the right information, and they’re fast and reliable. If we do all that right, a website becomes easier to find as well!
Their products help people create remarkable sites. They offer plugins that make optimizing websites as easy as pie. Their other products, like online courses and eBooks, help customers improve their sites. Last but not least, by contributing to loads of open source projects, like WordPress, they try to make the web better for everyone.

Posting this photo is an excuse to give a big THANK YOU to the @start_global organisation!!!!! I think it is safe to say the content at START is so good, it is hard to parallel. They got the latest developments in Artificial Intelligence, blockchain, IoT,
Opensource software, HealthTech etc. etc. covered, but avoided riding the wave of selling buzzwords. The curated speakers truly knew their stuff and because many of them spoke from their own experiences, I believe they really deepened the participants' existing knowledge on the topics. START Summit is organised by students, but it is more professional than many events organised by professionals ;) And a thought crossed my mind: perhaps students are THE perfect group of people to curate content. In my view, the students in St Gallen are all different but share the same traits: they are super smart, hardworking, positive, openminded and motivated to create a better future for mankind! Second year here, but again, very impressed by their professionalism and super positive vibe!! The content is the first important part, but all the students that organise START are the unmissable second half. ❤️ special thanks to the unstoppable @alexanderthephilosopher and @ralphhorat ! It was an honour and a pleasure to host @startfeld arena this year again 💛#unstoppable#winners#tech#summit#start#winning#content#ai#machinelearning#deeplearning#iot#nano#smarthome#healthtech#drone#opensource#datascience#bigdata#techgirl#techgirls#swiss#switzerland#stgallen#HSG#stage#moderator#innovation#startups#founders#founder
DAEDELUS / OPEN SOURCE LABYRINTHS MUSIC
Like his mythological namesake, Daedelus is an inventor, a creator of sonic labyrinths. He recombines sounds from an eclectic palette into an innovative genre all his own.
Alfred was born in Santa Monica in 1977 to an artist mother and professor father. Musical from very early on, as a child he was classically and #jazz -trained in a number of instruments, but his interests were broad and varied – less a prodigy than a #renaissance boy whose obsessions ranged from #Greek#legend to the mountains of Wales. As a 15 year old he finally persuaded his parents to take him to the #Principality . Whilst in a #YWCA in #London he flipped the radio dial, found a #pirateradio station and taped some UK #rave and #hardcore . “It was my first ‘#Eureka !’ moment in music,” he says.
In 1999 he started DJing on #Dublab .com for his ‘#EntropySessions ' and began dropping in his own early demo productions. #CarlosNino (of #Ammoncontact ) had the show after him and usually pushed Alfred out the studio as quickly as possible as he was not so enamoured with Alfred’s leftfield-electronic DJ style, but when he heard a tranquil Daedelus production he took Daedelus and introduced him to the LA scene. Nino placed Daedelus tracks on two influential compilations and then #PlugResearch released his debut album, 'Invention' in 2002. Remixers included #Madlib , who later took Daedelus' #accordion parts and used them on 2004's #Madvillain record.
Each live show is unique, employing #Monome controllers and #openSource software which allows for on-the-fly improvisation. The backdrop onstage is Daedelus' collaborative invention #Archimedes , a robotic array of moving mirrors which reacts to and reflects the performance (designed in San Diego by #BrianCrabtree and #PeterSiegerstrong ) Daedelus explains. “Basically it allows for massive improvisation." Since then Daedelus has continued to use this revolutionary controller, bringing much genuine liveness to the sometimes static world of performed electronic/dance music.
