Hello beautiful people ❤ how was your day? Do you also have the feeling that time seems to pass so fast? It's almost Easter 😅 right now I'm on my way back from school and I'm so tired 😴 after the biology test today my brain fell asleep and now all I want to do is eat and sleep but since I have to study sleeping won't be an option 🤓 these #chocolate#pancakes with warm berries are all I crave right now 🍫 I wish I had this in front of me right now 😍 do you like pancakes or do you prefer waffles? I hope you have an awesome Wednesday ❤
▪ 100g flour
▪ 75g unsweetened apple sauce or 1 banana
▪ 20g cacao powder
▪ 10g chia or flax seeds
▪ water or plantbased milk
▪ chocolate wunderdrops* @wundercompany
▪ sweetener of choice (dates, maple sirup, ect.)
Mix the flour and the chia seeds. Next stir in the apple sauce or the mashed banana and slowly add liquid until you have a pancake batter. Add the cacao powder and preheat a pan. It's time to add your sweetener of choice. Now you can fry your pancakes. Enjoy with fresh fruit, vegan yoghurt or nut butter.

Mashed Purple Sweet potatoes:
1 steamed purple sweet potato(could use any color)
A few splashes of your favorite non-dairy milk
Crushed black pepper(to taste)
Dash of salt (optional) .
Peel the sweet potato and mash with a fork until smooth. Stir in “milk”, salt, and pepper to taste. *
Out of this world glazed carrots:
2 peeled and sliced carrots
2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 Tbsp maple syrup
1 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce or liquid amines
1 Tbsp water
1 tsp liquid smoke
1 tsp garlic powder
Dash of hot sauce
Boil carrot slices in hot water in a small pan for 3-5 minutes, until soft, but not too soft. While the carrots are cooking, mix all the other ingredients together in a small bowl. Drain the carrots and put them back into the pot on the stove. Pour your liquid mixture onto the carrots and let cook until most of the liquid has evaporated and the carrots are coated in a glaze, stirring occasionally. This may take about 5-10 mins. *
I was very lazy with this part and just used frozen peas that I ran hot water over. I think this dish would also work well steamed broccoli instead. 🥦 *
Add everything to a nice big bowl and serve with a lemon slice. Lemon juice turns the potatoes slightly pink! *

Let’s take a moment to talk about our Sensitive Bodies.
For those of us who are highly sensitive, we can have a much harder time with our bodies than non-Sensitive Souls. Our bodies are turned-up to the max with sensory overloads of all kinds and this can cause mayhem for our systems.
It can be truly exhausting as a Sensitive Soul trying to balance all the extra simulation and internal stimulation on a daily basis.
My body has always been very sensitive, but back when I was a child no-one had any understanding of what this meant and how it translated. I also had no idea.
How did I know my body is sensitive?
I have always been very sensitive to sunlight – especially since I live in England. I don’t ever seem to get enough of it and it has often made my mood suffer. When the sun is out, I am like Wall-E powering up his batteries.
I am also highly sensitive to my own stress levels, other people’s stress levels and sleep. These all contribute to constantly trying to balance all 3. I know now that I need 8 hours of sleep and even that’s broken up into varying chunks (hello parenthood!) then that’s ok too.
Stress creates this toxic explosion in my body which makes everything unbalanced from sleep, digestion, brain fog, tightness of my body, absorption of nutrients and mood.
Hunger has always been an issue. Feeling hungry has been such an overwhelmingly negative experience for my body and mind that I have avoided it at all costs. If hungry I become the dictionary definition of HANGRY! And being overly full meant I was lethargic and couldn’t move or think.
Too much gluten and within half an hour I was asleep like I’d been drugged. In fact, it was so extreme that I got sacked from a job once as I couldn’t stay awake after lunch!
Too much dairy and I’d get ear infections, colds, tonsillitis (before I had them out) etc and yet I was addicted to cheese.
At Uni my favourite post night-out meal was massive chunks of cheddar cheese and concentrated orange juice drunk from the carton. As you can imagine this didn’t go well and I was very malnourished! (sorry, mum!) Back when I was totally ignoring my bodies cues to maintain balance I would eat poorly 👇🏻👇
