What you will notice is that every dog in this video is at a different stage. They were all dropped off on the same day with a variety of different issues.
The learning process for each dog is different. This means the method or the way we approach training differs for each individual dog. Some dogs also progress slower than others.
One method does NOT work on all dogs which is why we have multiple methodologies. We have had clients come to us and say that their previous trainer told them that “your dog is not trainable”. This is not true. Every dog is trainable. Maybe not all of the dog’s issues can be fixed but at least improvements can be made.
Just like humans, each dog learns differently and responds better or worse to certain teaching techniques. It is our job to find out how that dog learns and which method or combination of approaches works best.
For example, in this video you see Yoda is still on the long line with slightly less distraction than Dodger and Splitt. You will also notice that Splitt has dogs closer to him during the exercise than Dodger does. Splitt also gets no food because it puts him into an overexcited state. Dodger and Yoda do get food to increase motivation etc etc etc.
The point is, not all dogs learn as fast or as slow as others and not all dogs will make the miracle change we all want. The most important thing is that the dog improves his or her state of mind from being insecure/nervous/fearful/ aggressive to a calmer, more confident and relaxed pup.

SFG KETTLEBELL COURSE
WHAT IS THE SFG COURSE?
The most fundamental and thoroughly in-depth kettlebell instruction available within a single day.
Developed by the founder of the modern kettlebell movement, Pavel Tsatsouline, the SFG Course is THE 8-hour kettlebell workshop — perfected.
IS THE SFG COURSE THE BEST OPTION FOR YOU?
You want to learn how to use kettlebells…correctly and safely.
You also want to be certain that you will receive the best instruction possible, and avoid wasting any (more) of your time or money. If you are like many others who attend the SFG Course, then perhaps:
your nearest SFG Instructor‘s class schedule does not fit into your own work/life schedule.
you want to dig deeper into the skills, but cannot afford a series of one-on-one sessions right now.
or you just want to take a single day to learn everything you can, in order to cancel your gym membership and get busy on your own.
You have probably been browsing through dozens of how-to articles and YouTube videos, confused by the conflicting images and examples, and unable to distinguish what’s really correct from what isn’t. Here is a hint: Most of what you will see out there is suboptimal. And a lot of it is flat-out dangerous.
The guessing game is over — you have found the preeminent authority here at StrongFirst. When you register for an SFG Course, you can be certain that you will receive the highest-quality instruction available. Do not veer off-course; stick with us, and you will never again wonder if you are on the right track.

This part is pretty cool.
First, some orientation. StrongFirst’s kettlebell curriculum and training methodology has been developed and refined by Founder and Chairman, Pavel Tsatsouline, for well over a decade. We currently offer three types of Courses: Kettlebell (SFG), Barbell (SFL), and Bodyweight (SFB). Each of these Courses is appropriate for practitioners of virtually any skill level. No previous kettlebell experience is required to attend the SFG course. #kettlebells#strongfirst#coachgranville#mississauga#toronto#oakville#brampton .
We are living in a society that is always on the go and we are constantly stressing over something! This constant state of being stressed can be extremely taxing on our body. ⠀
Our adrenals produce a hormone called cortisol which is supposed to be high when we wake up and naturally taper off throughout the day and into the evening. Cortisol is responsible for our body’s flight or fight response. It stores energy in case of an emergency. When you’re always stressed, your cortisol levels are going to stay raised and your body is going to hold on to calories and store them as fat. This is the fat that gets stored around your waist and around your organs.⠀
This constant cortisol struggle can lead to that afternoon crash where all you want to do is grab a muffin, coffee, a pop or something savoury, just to get a boost (The Adrenal Thyroid Revolution by Aviva Romm, page 30).⠀
So everyone, take a deep breath...now exhale. ⠀
Our Grade 3 class utilized their knowledge of internal forces, structure, and engineering to build a house of cards during their Strong and Stable Structures Unit. The challenge was to build a strong framework of cards able to withstand the weight. Each student used different techniques to distribute the force of the weights on the playing cards- creating strong and stable structures! #HouseofCards#Stability#Structure#MacLachlanCollege#Oakville
