We donated some of our raisin boxes to the Northwestern University Dance Marathon and they sent us back some fun pictures of the marathon! During this awesome event, over 1,000 students were able to dance for 30 hours and raise $1,175,709 for Cradles to Crayons and the Evanston Community Foundation.
Cradles to Crayons provides children from birth through age 12, living in low-income and homeless situations, with the essential items they need to thrive – free of charge. It partners with social service organizations, such as school districts and homeless shelters, to connect communities with excess resources - whether new or used items in good condition - with communities that are in need of these resources.
Medill alumna @robinthede (BSJ01) is host of the late-night show @therundownbet and is featured on the cover of the latest issue of Northwestern Magazine. “Medill made me a better writer,” she says. “It trained me. Medill was so formative because I didn’t know I was a writer. I eventually did sitcoms and [other] shows. That Medill education was the foundation for that.” #Medill#MedillAlums#MyMedillStory#Northwestern#TheRundownBET
