If you haven't ever been in and visited Heavenly Treasures, you've probably driven past it 100 times. Located on Route 66 in Glendora, they are one of our only #knottooshabbyBAZAAR vendors who have a brick and mortar business. Since 1998, Heavenly Treasures has assisted refugees, single mothers, widows, the physically disabled, women & children rescued from human trafficking, orphans, the disenfranchised, and many others. Lives around the world are affected each day through the sale of handicrafts. Each product made reflects the heart and soul of one or more of our artisans around the world.
Resurrection is in your veins.
As always, 100% of the profits supports the work of Christ in Puerto Rico, Peru, Ethiopia and North Carolina prisons.
#ChristInMe - Multiple styles, colors and choices for both him and her. ・

I call this poise. I use to be afraid to express grace with strangers, until i learned that positive energy rubs off on others.
Ensure that you have a good attitude with everyone you come in contact with. Do you want to be know as someone who always looks angry and stand-offish or someone who's energy brings others joy?
#Team is one of the core parts of being a #dreamchaser . Team enables overcoming. With the right people around you, you can overcome any obstacle. We believe our boys need to hear as much as possible about getting the right people on their “team” who will support and encourage them.

We were proud to host an outstanding NetSquared event this week at Community Council of St. Charles County. There was robust discussion and great ideas about "Leveraging Social Media to Tell Your Story." One of our outstanding panelists shared this simple, yet impactful, advice reminding nonprofits to support each other.
Catch next month's NetSquared St. Charles event on April 17. #nptech#nonprofits#mmgstl#netsquared
A touching short film on the importance of clean water; featuring our Chapter’s Blue Water Task Force hero, Pam Conti, with her students from @thepegasusschool discussing their experiences and involvement in bringing awareness to our oceans water quality through testing and the @surfrider Foundation. 🎥 by @theracollective

Happy National Puppy Day! 🐶 Pictured is a participant of the Wisconsin Humane Society’s Pets for Life program. The community outreach program, which began more than five years ago, serves people and animals in Milwaukee’s 53206 and 53205 ZIP codes, areas without a single veterinary clinic. The agency offers door-to-door outreach, information, resources and community outreach events. We, along with our donors, have supported the program, most recently in 2017. @wischumane #nationalpuppyday#petsforlife#nonprofits#community#wisconsinhumanesociety#generosity#philanthropy

When I talk to people about storytelling, I inevitably end up talking about values. The more I do this work and the more I fundraise, the more I believe that values are one of the most powerful connectors between movements/organizations and their donors. And yet. . . so few organizations tap into this power.
This week I wrote a long-ish blog post about visionary stories and values, and shared tips your organization can use to be more values-driven in your storytelling (and fundraising). Find a link to it in my bio.
We believe that, to prevent sexual violence and other forms of violence against children, especially girls, there must be a paradigm shift in the way society sees and interacts with children. In essence, we must work with this generation's children to prevent the next generation's problems (e.g. sexual violence and other forms of violence, addiction, indifference to the suffering of others, ill health, etc.). To learn more about our programs and values visit the link in our bio. We’re also looking for more volunteers for May, June, and July - info is on our website or feel free to send a DM to learn more 😊 #happyfriday
