Good morning kind humans,
It’s Eve here.
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has liked and shared my story. I am really thankful to you all for helping my plea for a home get out there.
Sadly, I have not had any offers of a home be it a foster or forever home and I’ve not even had anyone ask me any questions on what I like and don’t like.
So, to give you a wee bit more info on me, I’m
posting my profile below. Please do take the time to read it and see if I am a possible match for you. There has to be someone out there for me there just has to be 😿 -Name: Eve
-Age: approx 3yrs. I am in my prime -Breed: Mau
-Condition: PERFECT 👌🏼 -Medical history: spayed, dewormed, vaccinated and microchipped.
-History: house cat, dumped, cared for street cat, picked up, dumped again, now in temporary foster.
-Personality: quiet, shy and understandably slow to trust. Would prefer to be an only cat so I can be the queen of the house. I am a ladies cat. I love my foster mummy so much. I still got a little frightened with loud noises, sudden movements but once someone spends some time with me and let’s me come to them I feel safe and can let my guard down a little. -Likes: peace and quiet -Dislike: loud noises. Busy chaotic environment.
-needs: I hope this doesn’t put you off me. I’ve just been so unlucky that now I have gone back into my shell a little as I feel safer there. I am a house cat at heart and would so very much love a home to call my own. I just need someone to be patient with me. Someone who will give me the time to gain their trust. Once I feel safe and secure, I will shower you with love. I feel I am a no fuss cat. I would love a quiet window to sit and watch the world go by and occasionally get excited if a bird comes to say hi.
Time is running out for me. My foster mummy is leaving soon and she can’t take me with her. Please, I don’t want to go back to the streets again. I have been there before and it’s not nice.
I know I am not “ special”. I see many of my fellow feline friends are also searching for a home and we are all desperate but I feel this is my lance chance. #adoptme#adoptdontshop#rescuecat#mydubai#petsarefamily#instacat

🌟 Salmon is a fatty fish commonly prized for its health benefits, mostly because of its high omega 3 content, which most people don't get enough of.
• But there is a big nutritional difference between wild and farmed salmon.
Protein content is pretty much the same in both but farmed salmon contains much more omega 6 fatty acids and 3 times the amount of saturated fat. Therefore contains 40% + more calories.
For this reason, the omega 6 to omega 3 ratio is about 3 times higher in farmed, compared to wild ones.
Wild salmon is also higher in minerals, including potassium, zinc and iron.
• Farmed salmon has much higher concentrations of contaminants than wild salmon.
The most dangerous pollutant found in it is the PCBs, which are strongly associated with cancer and various other health problems.
PCB concentrations in farmed are 5 to 10 times higher than in wild salmon.
• Farmed salmon have 30 times the number of sea lice.
• They are fed pellets of chicken feces, corn meal, soy, genetically modified canola oil and other fish containing concentrations of toxins plus chemicals to give them pink/red color.
• They are administered with antibiotics at higher levels than any other livestock.
Those antibiotics are passed on to the consumer, making us more antibiotic resistant.
• As usual, you get what you pay for.
