I began making greeting cards because I was one of those people running out the door to a special occasion and realising I needed a card. It’s handy having sets of cards on hand that are multipurpose and for the really lazy I even made a multiple choice card. All you need to do is tick a box 😂 I’m a bit OCD so I really like filling in forms and ticking boxes so maybe I really made that one for myself 😂
#throwbackthursday to our girls’ holiday in Madrid last year. Bike riding in the park in the glorious sunshine 😎 You almost forget what it’s like to feel warmth on your bones. Anyone booked their summer holidays yet? ☀️
Finally got round to using my gorgeous @elizabethscarlett wash bag, except I’m using it for my makeup. It’s as soft and beautiful as it looks in the photo. Available to buy @tinkertailoronlineshop in @bushhillpark for anyone local or if you’re passing through! 😃😉
Indulgent goodies from @tinkertailoronlineshop - incense sticks and hand cream. Several beautiful scents to choose from plus lots of other exclusive gifts. Come and discover this little gem of a shop in leafy Bush Hill Park! 🌟#instalovesunday#lovethelifeyoulive
Saturday morning done ✅ and dusted. Two classes and 1 client in the bag - now it’s time to chill as it definitely feels like a lazy kind of day. Although, it will always be a #lazyday whatever the weather for @kaithebengal Purrfect! #caturday “Go away human, I’m trying to nap” 🛏 💤
#throwbackthursday#tbt to when looking up was interesting. I love looking up - sometimes the view above is a whole lot better than what we see at eye level. I particularly enjoy looking up at buildings because architecture is fascinating, do you agree? If you never look up you miss the past, the history...the wonder. When you go out today, make a point of glancing up at houses and buildings and if you’re like me you’ll be gazing upwards for a long time, long enough perhaps to draw a crowd. Enjoy your Thursday!
Wishing you a very happy #HouseplantAppreciationDay
Did you know that certain plants are supposedly bad Feng Shui? The Cacti🌵plants for example are not favourable because their energy is ‘spiky’. On the other hand, the Money Tree plant is supposed to symbolise Luck, Wealth, Prosperity and Health. Our one in the photo belonged to my grandmother. It’s flourishing on the kitchen windowsill and is of course, above all, a treasured reminder of a very special lady.
“Your fragility is also your strength” - Pina Bausch
It’s hard admitting that things don’t always go to plan but sometimes for one reason or another, our plans can get disrupted. How you deal with setbacks or those times when you feel off-kilter is in fact your strength. It’s at your most fragile and vulnerable that you understand your true self and to know your weaknesses makes you stronger. Do you agree?
I’d love to visit this beautiful #greenspace one day - Parco Di Monza is found just north of Milan in Italy🇮🇹and the photographer @brigrc captures it enchanted beauty perfectly. This particular photo has incredible depth. Check out his Instagram for some more amazing captures 🌟
#smallbusinessweekend is the theme and you know it’s those small businesses that go the extra mile every time🌟Thanks🙏🏻 to @i_am_equi from @equibotanics for the lovely Marula Oil Leave-in Conditioner. The attention to detail is fabulous; great presentation and packaging with some personal touches including an handwritten message from Ekwy herself🌟The twins in particular are partial to some hair straightening, so we’re all looking forward to trying out this gorgeous scented product. Furthermore, it doesn’t contain any nasties. I’m all for that!🌟 #dreambuilding#believetoachieve#believeinyourwalk#doingitinstyle
Are you coming over all ‘Christmassy’ yet? I think I’m just starting to get used to the idea. There’s no escaping the tinsel and the sparkle, the shimmer and the glimmer....Our local coffee shop @stantonscoffee has done a nice job. Subtle and tasteful and very much in keeping with their vibe.
We’re planning to put up our decs this weekend. Is your house adorned yet?

Morning - haven’t shown myself in a while. As today is all about #winningonwednesday , this surely is my ‘winning’ face! I’m looking forward to sending out my very first newsletter soon and I’m very happy about that. Can you tell? 😁 For those who’ve already subscribed, thank you....for anyone else, direct message me with your email address and wait for the newsletter to hit your inbox! 💫
I’m always amazed at the photos @ellierosehuckle takes with her modest Canon Powershot SX710 HS. Taken about 30 minutes ago, here’s a beautiful shot of a Waxing Gibbous Moon 🌓 (68% illuminated)
Whilst on the subject of astronomy - did anyone see the star 💫 lit sky last night? It was magical.
Ah, it’s #throwbackthursday to late summer of this year when Dad made his wine🍷 This #labouroflove takes place every couple of years in September, or annually if supplies need replenishing! In fact, Dad’s special pure grape 🍇 brew has been making an appearance at the lunch and dinner table for as long as I can remember. We were always encouraged to drink small amounts with our meals but trying to do my school homework started becoming a challenge!
Just like the tomato 🍅 passata, the whole family gets to enjoy Dad’s amazing wine. His three son-in-laws in particular are very partial to the potent plonk🍇😀 You’ve probably guessed but a word of warning; it’s not for the faint hearted!
#forestbathing on a Sunday morning. You can’t beat the smell of the trees and the freshness in the air for a dose of #wellness and #healingtime 🌳 Overall fitness includes mental health, so get daily #downtime from devices. Balance is crucial so make sure you give your brain a rest from technology today and every day. Hands up who does this?
Before Christmas takes a firm hold, let’s take a moment to press the ‘pause’ button, look around and relish the last knockings of Autumn. There’s still so much to see in the crazy, glorious colours of the trees and leaves 🍂🍁🍁🍂
I’m still enjoying all this and therefore refuse to move onto the tacky reds and greens of Christmas just yet! Christmas can wait a little longer. Who’s with me? 🍁

Inspired by @janmurrayuk today, here’s a #happyme photo. I’m outdoors so it’s natural to assume that I was working but actually, no. Nonetheless, not a day passes when I don’t step outside, find a #greenspace and relax by taking a long walk or an invigorating run. True relaxation is being mindful of whatever you’re doing or the place you’re in. So, there you have it, some pearls of #wednesdaywisdom right there. Make sure you find #yourhappyplace in the great outdoors, unwind and immerse yourself in #naturestherapy
Today was about ‘Forest Bathing’ in beautiful Richmond Park. Have you ever heard of that term? “This is the healing way of Shinrin-yoku, the medicine of simply being in the forest. Shinrin-yoku is a term that means ‘taking in the forest atmosphere’. It was developed in Japan during the 1980s and has become a cornerstone of preventive health care and healing in Japanese medicine”
Chill...it’s Sunday....this little fella is showing you how! 🐈 @kaithebengal doing what humans should do more of ....kicking back and not giving one! What are you up to on the ‘once upon a time’ rest day? 😄 #instalovesunday
Walthamstow Wetlands - “There is something for everyone - whether it is enjoying a walk or cycle ride, birdwatching or fishing, or simply appreciating the fresh air, big skies and peace and quiet of Walthamstow Wetlands, a 211 hectare nature reserve in the heart of London”
What a welcome change to be out of my ‘fitness’ uniform! One client earlier today and now the rest of the day and evening are mine! I have a list of things to do as long as my arm but nothing which can’t wait, and after the pace of the last few weeks I’m due some time out to do sweet ***k all!
Happy Tuesday! 😃
Morning! I do love a bird and this Waxbill from South Africa is no exception. What a joy! Thanks to @earthpix for reposting and alerting me to @nickybluephoto who took this picture and has an amazing array of wildlife photos and videos. Hope this little fella has made you smile 😊
I just adore the old tiles in our tube stations. Had never been to this one before today so here's a snippet of history and information about Belsize Park Underground Station. It's one of eight London Underground stations which have deep-level air-raid shelters underneath them. The shelter was constructed in World War II to provide safe accommodation for service personnel.
The station was opened on 22 June 1907 by the Charing Cross, Euston & Hampstead Railway as an intermediate station on its line from Charing Cross to Golders Green. It is served by three lifts which descend 33.2 m (108 ft 10 in) to the platforms. There are 219 steps according to the sign in the station. The station was designed by Leslie Green and on the outside has his familiar facade of ox-blood faience with four round arched windows. It remains largely untouched. Fascinating!
I just couldn't resist brightening up your Monday morning with this absolute delight of a bird. The Pink Robin is a real thing and lives in Tasmania and Southern Australia 🇦🇺 What a gem! Thanks to @earthpix for posting! 📸@birddetective
